Is This Plan Suitable?

Don't eat carbs before going jogging. I read at a gym that it raises your blood sugar (obviously) and you then burn the sugar in your blood instead of burning the fat in your body (which seems to be your aim).

However a lack of carbs will lead to no energy, and then subsequent collapses like I have been experiencing in my running. The chances of d. highland actually burning all the carbs/energy and experiencing a depletion are very low if moderate jogging is the form of exercise he's choosing.

Me and a friend once decided to get in shape by jogging in the local park. We put on our jogging suits and jogged directly to the liquor store, and proceeded to get thoroughly hammered. That was pretty much it for jogging, that decade.

Don't eat sugar just before training. I read in the Journal of Experimental Physiology that this leads to a lower growth signal from the exercised muscles, since they never reach as low a level of glucose.
Stick to something that you don't absorb all at once.

And if you're just a boy living with your parents, try running up and down the garden every evening. Do Atlas' crunches in the hall, where they can see you. Make them realise that getting fit is not a story you've made up.

My body is on a sugar reject, I ate an oreo yesterday and was on the ground sick.

They already saw, but they just think it's an excuse, it's very annoying when persuading my parents.

Middle of it.

We have track and field once a year, and it only lasts 1 day.

Okay, during the March Break my friend and I made up a plan.

We would run/jog/walk everyday for as much as we can, basically time given, and we would be eating less to make our appetites smaller.

Is this a good method?

We get 1hr - 1.5hr to do the jogging part, since we're only allowed to do it while we're in school (Darn parents). We average around 7km - 12km per hour by walking.

Can anyone suggest something better which I can do during the school or any other time.

And please, no calling me a fatty and stuff like that (I still recall someone doing it before on here.)

:goodjob:

Here's my advice:
1. keep at it
2. get enough sleep (8-10 hours a night)
3. eat some breakfast for god's sake.
4. stop eating hamburgers
5. pressure your parents. If you're persistant enough then they will let you remain on the school track, hopefully.
6. don't sit still. Ever. Always be on the move. It'll get you motivated.
7. don't eat before you go to bed.
8. Quoting Fifty "Don't set yourself up for failure by giving yourself some unrealistic expectation of how much exercise you'll do. You cant go from Lazy Joe to Fitfit McRunsalot in a day. Start off with some moderate jogging and go from there. Going from nothing to 1.5hrs a day is doomed for failure." I think this is the most important advice you can get from this thread.
9. don't eat less. If you exercise enough shouldn't be a problem. But as I say before drop the hamburgers.
10. well, no more I can think of right now. Best of luck :)

That sounds like a good plan, this kinda stuff is on my thoughts too. You could say I have a little more pudge than I would like. Good Luck, let me know how it goes highland!:goodjob:
