Apparently the chaos of mass economic decline has the side-effect of unusual (as in what tends to be termed as random) opportunities for highlighting previously not that popular cultural focal points.
In non-Greek that means that philosophy seems to be not a byword for 'ancient stuff' now, in this place. So i might even get to have a Lydian gig out of my great and refined program :)

Chaos is a ladder. And with most of the worst of the demon-Lannisters dead, there may even be some prospect here for myself.

Of course there are dragons on one side, and whitewalkers on the other, and brutal death and warmongering flayers in between, but for the time being i think that i can lord over the thin veil.

Do you think that chaos is a pit, a ladder, or something else? (this question is why the thread exists, notice the ascii asterisk above).

Chaos is a ladder leading to a pit filled with dragons that will be coming, or are those the white walkers. Only thing thats certain is bear markets will be coming, unless they have been sent away for treason and in that case red bull woman ahead! For the night is dark and full of unneeded game of thrones references.

Chaos is just disorder, isn't it?

If I buy a puzzle and mess up all the pieces, that's chaos. If I sit down for 3 hours and assemble all the pieces into a large picture, that's order.

So to me chaos is simply just the opposite of order. I don't think you need to complicate matters any further than that.

When faced with a superior opponent lead them into chaos, and complication, and there's an outside chance you'll win.

When faced with an inferior opponent keep them in order, and simplicity, and know that your win is assured.

Chaos is the principle that small changes in initial conditions can affect large scale behaviour and patterns.
