It's About to Get Hot at the Border

Toward the open sea?

Good luck, sir. :salute:
Had to think about this one a little, put a good spin on it you know? But yes, knowing how alone you are is a good step in considering how others feel :)

Anyone notice that Trump said he was ordering the military to gun down civilians if anyone threw rocks at them? "Rocks should be treated as rifles" is essentially what he said. I can't even... dude is basically calling for war crimes and murder. :vomit:

Heaven help us. I'm guessing (hoping) the Army will just ignore him

Question: What does the EC do, and interests wise, what does it mean if a party manages to lose to its margin of power twice in 20? Why are Republicans fractious enough to encompass being the party of both Mr. Rogers and the WBC? Ryan and Assclown in Chief having it out right now is yawn-worthy routine.
Or, perhaps, another way to look at it back into the frame:
The agents are the 320 million individuals, not the electoral college of 50 states. This means a powerful minority successfully leveraged their position to build enough of a coalition to overcome the threat of dogpile. I guess they're breaking away from the pack.

Mr. Rogers died 15 years ago, when Bush had to run as a "compassionate conservative". There's no reason to include him.

He advocated for war crimes during the campaign, too, so it's not like the people who voted for him weren't aware they voted for a Commander-in-Chief who advocates for war crimes.

In addition to the Army ignoring him, maybe not having any rock throwers to begin with would help? Let's hope the warning stops anyone from throwing rocks.

What happened at the southern mexican border that resulted in one death when the caravan clashed with Mexican authorities?

From the article you linked
One migrant was killed, and dozens were injured.
Don't see any justification there for telling US troops to open fire on a group of civilians. Even if there's a few guys throwing rocks in a group of 500 people, you're going to start shooting into the crowd? That's insanity.:shake: And who's responsibility is the "not having any rock throwers to begin with?" The mother holding her child's hand is somehow implicated in the rock throwing by some dude she doesn't know just because she's standing in his vicinity? If a group of kids are riding their bikes down the street in front of your house and one of the kids stops and throws a rock at you (the royal you)... would you be justified to pull out your shotgun and open fire on the kids? Craziness :crazyeye:
Trump said:
"Anybody throwing stones, rocks -- like they did to Mexico and the Mexican military, Mexican police, where they badly hurt police and soldiers of Mexico -- we will consider that a firearm," he said.

"If they want to throw rocks at our military, our military fights back. We're going to consider -- and I told them, consider it a rifle. When they throw rocks like they did at the Mexico military and police, I say, consider it a rifle."

Soooo since apparently the Supreme Leader says rocks are to be treated as the equivalent of rifles and wants us to consider rocks as firearms... would he be OK with States that go ahead and ban guns? I mean you can exercise your right to bear arms by going in your backyard and digging up some rocks right? "Rocks are to be considered firearms." That's what he said.

Will there be an executive order.

I do question the stability of someone who is hurling rocks at people with rifles. Would anybody here do that? What's the desirable anticipated outcome?

It's pretty crummy to shoot into a crowd, but why is the crowd initiating physical violence against armed forces, and why are members of it willing to stay in said crowd after witnessing it? The whole thing seems senseless. Mexico should have arrested them on the spot, dispersing the group.

Like as in Melania's line? Or a different line?

At any rate... requesting asylum is a legally recognized "proper line".
Melanie is a bit old for him by now, so he's due to take another immigrant that looks vaguely like his daughter as a trophy wife.

Why would Mexico arrest them? They're not doing anything illegal.

Throwing rocks tends to be an act of frustration. Frustrated people don't think clearly. As for staying in the crowd; it's a crowd. Unless you're near the edge, it's not the easiest thing to leave.

I've always considered rock throwing at armed people a Darwin type activity.
But it has been going on for as long as I can remember. It was big during the Vietnam protest in the 60's and 70's. It was almost like they wanted someone to shoot so it would make the news to make the administration look monstrous. Yeah, quite a victory.

It's sort of like they are so disempowered that such a victory is all they have available.
