Most of his wealth is in real estate and how that is valued is key: market value, insurance value, cost, income stream value, "what I think it is worth" value, etc.

The links I posted in post #146 shows where forbes gets their numbers from. They have annual lists. One link updated in Sept is a breakdown showing he has 1.5 billion worth of NY real estate for example. 'Cash and personal assets' are indeed around 300 million, but his 'net worth' would include his real estate and businesses. The other forbes link supposedly is updated everyday, but I can't imagine they do an assessment on all his properties every day, just changes it when it is known when something he owns has changed in value.

I do suspect his over-reporting of his net worth is to feed his ego, not because he doesn't know math.

Yeah, 30 years ago, and I already posted how he posed as someone else (well, not someone else, but a fictitious person). I would hope their methodology has improved a bit since then. 'Estimate' being the key word, I don't think they know right down to the dollar how much someone is worth, but they are not likely going to estimate 3 billion if he's only worth 200 million.

Nobody in this government is forcing any of these people to come here, so you concentration camp claims are just beyond the rediculous.

In any case, they are not here NOW, so....

Meanwhile, your argument has been beaten into the ground. They ARE "in the line" as currently defined, since they are on their way to ask for asylum, which is currently a legal action. Your only argument being "but it may not be in the future" is so blatantly irrelevant that it seems more like just the snark of someone who can't admit defeat.

The snark was related to the "ridiculous" (better?) comment about "concentration camps", so I am impervious to your tangential shanks tim, take them somewhere else.

I suppose since you were also completely flummoxed by Silurian's comment my "tangential shanks" aren't really needed. But when someone who is so obviously swimming against an overwhelming tide of facts just refuses to go quietly who can really resist the opportunity to stick them?
