Updates will remain at 100 years for now. At some point (either 200 BC or 1 AD), they'll go to 50 year updates. But that shouldn't matter too much--still long updates.

Lurker: Gaah. Ridiculous. One hundred years is far too long for an update in any period. I mean, in less than 15 years Alexander the Great destroyed the greatest empire in the world then built a new one. That same action permanently changed the cultural face of the world stretching Hellenic, now Hellenistic, culture from its homelands in Hellas to India. Now, how are you going to express that in turns of 100 years?

And sorry about not playing IC. Maybe I should start following your example- sign peace with an enemy that attacked a good ally within one turn and then ally with them to get involved in something that I shouldn't eveen be involved in!
@Luckymoose: We're discussing whether or not to make peace- continue those stupid remarks and it all go out the window. And, fyi, we're not worried about you- its all Rome's big nose.

It was that or slavery and since there wasn't much food or water around, it seemed that a quick death would be more merciful than a slow painful one. The bad part was that I didn't really want to destroy the entire city.North King said:

From Roman Republic
The withdrawal of your troops from the territory of Tartessos and cessation of hostilites with Tartessos is what Rome desires. Basically a white peace between Eirehann/Brittania and Tartessos and her allies. Rome will thus aid Tartessos in the rebuilding of her country. In addition, a 5 turn NAP between Tartessos and the Northern nations.
We hope this will come to a peaceful conclusion and that trade, ever more prosperous then war, can be restored to her rightful path.
OOC: I'm not sure that needs a response from Tartessos so much as from Eirehann and Briton.

First Treaty of Caer Troia*
1.) A cessation of conflict will occur immediatly between the nations of Eirehann, Briton, Tartessos, Iberia, and Carthage. A mandatory NAP will be issued to last for a guarenteed four periods. Furthermore, Rome will also sign a NAP to last for four periods.
2.) Tartessos, in recompensation for returned lands and for damages occured during the Iberian Wars, will issue a payment of 2 eps. In return, Eirehann will vacate those lands issued on the treaty. Tartessos will also limit its army to a total of 5000 men and no more than 30 galleys.
3.) Iberia will pay a payment of 1 ep to Briton in exchange for peace. Further more, Iberia will be limited in its army size to a total of 5000 men- excluding naval forces (limited to 30 galleys). A NAP will be secured between Briton and Iberia.
4.) Carthage shall be paid nothing as it has no right to interfere, and should a single Carthagian soldier be spotted with 10 acres of any Briton/Eirian soldiers, said soldiers will take the authority to defend itself and counterattack the foolish agressors.
5.) A new nation, not yet named, shall be drawn from Briton held lands and shall be funded from Breiton funds. This nation shall serve as a border between Briton and Iberia and thus will remain closely allied to Briton at all times.
6.) A limit on expansion is also shown on the map, with no nation breaching the borders presented when the time comes that they once again begin to expand.
