In fact, if you were to occupy this land, you would be in direct breach of our non-agression pact, which lasts two more turns. ah, our bad then. we appolgize. though the fact that it has swiched hands so many times over the past centuries, is the reason why we wish to Aquire it. by providing a Bastion of Sanity to the Region, we hoped to Improve Trade and stablize it's flow through the Region.

If you haven't noticed, there is a war on and all the land once controlled by the League is in transition. But Egypt will sell you an option on that land for 2 EP and pending the final disposition of League holdings, we (with Sumer) can discuss the final price later. And I don't think that the League will have any use for your new technology.
