Green doesn't really fit to the colours of medieval hungary
Red was usually dominant, with white of course
Most Civ IV mods use a pale version of it which works pretty well IMO
Something light red, close to brownish-reddish

The problem is, there are already a bunch of official civs which use some combo of red and white for their colors. If you don't want repeat colors with official civs you'll need to think outside that combination.

First of all, thank you guys for your responses, but I think we shouldn't post in janborutas thread about this topic, but in my mods thread where I think it belongs to: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=482652

Having said this, I'd like to make a last comment on this in this thread (I'd gladly continue in my thread). You are both right: red and white fits Hungary best, yet it is commonly used (also white and red). On the other side, my mod is not meant to be limited on medieval ages, so green is not automatically out. Still, I'd also prefer red as my few green tests didn't look properly. I can't think of any fourth colour that would represent Hungary well (black as suggested on steam would meet Corvinus, but that's only a limited part of hungarian history). I guess I'll do some previews with colouring suggestions so that we can discuss on actual colours instead of on only ideas. I'll try green-white, green-red (both in both mixtures) and the pale red-brown. Still, we need to keep the button in mind which is meant to reuse the two colours.

Hello everyone! I'm after my review-exam of this semester already and I've already got back to Civ artwork :) Time for new stuff!

If this is still available, I'd be glad to work on the art of Etruscans for you :)

Nice icons Janboruta!

could you make some in the style of the teutonic knight for the templar, hospitaler and jerusalem knights ?

janboruta, your art is amazing. I've been working on a Soviet Union civ for a while (trying to mod diplo marriage to create SSRs and it's taking some time). I had intended to use Lenin as the leader, but with your artwork, I think I'll switch to Stalin. Do you have, or would you be willing to create a DOM screen and a 2D diplo screen? Also, could you create an icon based on the MiG-21? Thanks a million in advance.

I've been wondering, is there any way I could use the map you made for Israel? I'm making an Israel civ and it would be very handful...

You can use it without problem! Sorry for a late reply, I wasn't monitoring this thread for a while :) I downloaded your mod right away when it was released, and I thought the map wasn't bad, it had all the necessary qualities required by a Civ 5 map. But if you still want to replace it, go ahead. :)
