One is imposed by free choice, the other is imposed by an external force.

Getting a Marxist to endorse the value of the free market is just a matter of bringing up sexuality, it seems.

It sucks that you can't get a date, but this is 100% your problem and 100% in your power to solve.

I think I won't mind feeling some amount of schadenfreude at your unfortunate situation from here on out.

Are you sure you're saying those things to the right person? I'm laughably far from a Marxist and I have no unfortunate situation when it comes to being desired.

Do you think markets create fair outcomes when left alone?

(Also, plenty of Marxists would argue along the same lines, so it works as a general statement.)

and I have no unfortunate situation when it comes to being desired.

You did say that you were wasting your life away. I can find some poetic justice in your suffering, but I'm not callous enough to believe it's simply your decision to suffer.

Nope.

I mean, there's a difference between having a severe physical disability and not getting a date. But dude, this is exactly my point. I'm a 260 pound 5'5" male who can be physically overpowered by a child. I can't function in public for more than two hours. I have zero physical stress tolerance. I'm extremely self-destructive and I sabotage my friendships and relationships. I have no education and no gainful employment.

And yet, there are three people in my life that desire me. I have someone I've been consistently intimate with, and two more that I could develop this with if I were so inclined.

You can take whatever pleasure you want in my disability, but this changes nothing about the overarching point: it is extremely difficult to be desired by no one. It is largely self-inflicted. Self-reflect. The problem isn't everyone else.

Make that three more. :goodjob:

Then why endorse the system for sexual/romantic relations?

And imagine how you would feel if someone were to tell you it is all your fault. That you could fix yourself if you just made an effort.

hey i found a black person who got rich and says he never felt oppressed, all other black people take a lesson

Let's try a third time: I'm not, and have never been, talking about being desired by *no one*.

Most people say that. I'm indifferent to it. Why would I care? It changes nothing. There is nothing I can do that would make me healthy. There is a lot you can do to make a girl think you're cool beans.

Also, you really need to stop with the "what about if this were about black people" comparisons.

Then why endorse the system for sexual/romantic relations?

I don't endorse any "markets" for sexual relations. I endorse all individuals having the freedom to choose and not being forced into lifelong commitment if they do not wish it.

This discourse is radicalizing me towards misandry.

Each post Mouthwash posts pushes me further towards the castration of ugly men.

I could probably get a girl to sleep with me if I tried. But I have specific criteria for relationships (which doesn't make me a hypocrite, since I don't claim incel status). But I can see girls with complete sexual power over their peers feeling 'oppressed' when forced into awkward propositions, and I know what it's like to be on the other end.

Native Americans? :)

Just like we endorse all individuals having the freedom to come to a mutually agreed upon contract.

Do you also have reading comprehension problems, dude? Now we're back to "Mouthwash is against divorce/remarriage."

Yes, being forced into things is oppressive.

Exactly! Why should employers be forced to give their workers a certain amount of money? Or give them what the state considers decent working conditions? Why should people be forced to work for the state part-time?

That’s really creative. Do you think I support wage slavery and states or something?

Well, we're all on board with coercion being oppressive.

In your mind is it the EMPLOYER thats being coerced in a worker-employer relationship?

Of course not, if both parties come to an agreement of their own volition. There's absolutely nothing more important than that.

So is wage slavery a mutual agreement then?

I don't see how a mutual exchange of goods and services constitutes slavery. It's their right to exchange things, dude. Not your business or the state's.

It didn’t happen. A worker had their labor value stolen by an employer, who was empowered by violence both physical and social.

Similarly, and more on topic, your scummy friends forcing women to talk to them do so with immense social power over the women.
