Maybe you can convert some Thracian units so they can be added as early (warrior and spearman) Byzantine units? Poor Byzantines have only a unique longswordsman model right now.

That is a great idea. I forgot that Byzantium was a part of Thrace.

Do you want the units as unique units or just add them to the game for any civilization to use?

In civ4 we only had 1 gladiator (the Thraex/Thracian).

In Civ IV we have almost nothing of this feast.
