Jungian personality test.

I was ESTP in my current position and ESFP when I was in management.

I believe the majority of the world are "I"s except Americans who are predominately "E"s.

I've taken this test before. I usually get INTJ or INFJ, the latter perhaps more accurate.

ISFP--an artist.

Artist? I'm certainly no artist.

Took it again and got an ENTJ

ENTJ - "Field Marshall". The basic driving force and need is to lead. Tend to seek a position of responsibility and enjoys being an executive. 1.8% of total population.

So I guess I'm definitely an NTJ with borderland between E and I

Extroverted (E) 58.33% Introverted (I) 41.67%
Sensing (S) 54.17% Intuitive (N) 45.83%
Feeling (F) 54.17% Thinking (T) 45.83%
Perceiving (P) 62.5% Judging (J) 37.5%

Your type is: ESFP
Accuracy:

ESFP - "Entertainer". Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. 8.5% of the total population.

I always saw Jungs intorvert extrovert demeanour tests as a means to an end, i.e. you think your an intuitive introvert? Why would you think this? always a means to explore further, not necessarily arbitrarily pointing out your personality, more a tool to give a psychologist a framework to assess you. In this way it's pretty clever, because how you see yourself may not accurately reflect how other people see you, or in fact really have a firm basis, it's just a means to create a dialogue about what you think and why. Jung may have had his odd notions but he had some pretty brilliant ideas, certainly more grounded than the idea of power ruling our lives, or sex, people are just far more complicated.

ISTJ, but the S and N were within a couple of percentage points, and both descriptions fit me to a fair degree, but the INTJ had my preferred career (fighter pilot).

I agree on that.
You can use this as opportunity to reflect the way you percept things about yourself to the things how certain system values these towards certain typical behavioural attributes.

It depends how you define "power".
I believe life is really about "power" in sense that it's about being "free" or "being yourself". We want to extend ourselves and have opportunities, but since we are way or another working one hand tied into our back (because other people exist as well with similar goals causing coercion, and because we're mortal etc.) we struggle to get out of that handicap.
But there are numerous ways to feel having that power and freedom. Funnily enough along the way, during that struggle, it starts to determine what kind of freedoms we appreciate.

If you find your way, it means more power to you. ;)

INTJ ("mastermind"). I think this is pretty accurate.

ISTP, but it says I should be an engineer, which I don't. Much rather be in writing, politics, English, or philosophy. Not so exact.

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.

I'd say its fairly accurate. We actually took this same test in my psch class a year or two ago.

So-so accuracy. I got ISTP- The Engineer. I've taken it several times though with different tests and always gotten INTJ- mastermind. They're still fairly similar though.

Dependable? Meh.

Does anyone else find it odd, that these kind of tests never find any negative aspects of your personality? Where are all the truthful answers, e.g: "You, sir, are an insensitive prick."

Yes! :) I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees this. It deeply bothers me when tests like this never criticize you in any way, they just reinforce an already overgrown ego. Though I'm reluctant to give my results just to spite this thing:

God damn there are a lot of Introverts.

ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population.

Myers Briggs testing can be very interesting when you work in a team environment. It helps team members understand each others needs. This fits me to a tee and my peers would agree.

ESTP - "Promotor". Action! When present, things begin to happen. Fiercely competitive. Entrepreneur. Often uses shock effect to get attention. Negotiator par excellence. 4.3% of total population.
