Keniisu's Design Workshop!

UA: Make America Great Again -
Whenever a civilization has Open Borders from you, all units gain +10% Strength and Defense :c5strength: (Max: 40%). You can buy tiles for half the normal cost.

The second half of the UA is basically just the same as Washington's (which is awful). Why don't make it that for every tile you get through cultural influence/buying tiles, gain +1 :c5gold: Gold per turn in the :c5capital: Capital?

Kingdom of Aragon (James I)
UA: Mecenas de las artes -
Upon the research of Writing a Great Writer is born near the capital. Great Writers and Great Artists :c5greatperson: are earned 25% faster than normal and when born they grant a boost of tourism :c5culture: with every other civilization as well as granting influence :c5influence: with all city-states.
UU: Destructor (Replaces Trebuchet) -
When attacking a city gain culture :c5culture: that is half of the inflicted damage done to the city. Has +2 :c5strength: more strength when another Destructor is adjacent to this one.
UB: Estadio (Replaces Stadium) -
For each City-State ally you have you gain +1 Global Happiness :c5happy:, and +2 Culture :c5culture:. Whenever a Great Work is completed gain a fair sum of Culture :c5culture: for your civilization.

Good idea! I shalt revise his Civilization design tomorrow as I have something that could make the idea much better and work with your suggestion. :)

OLD Monaco Civilization (Rainier III)
SEE BELOW POST REVISION OF THIS DESIGN.

UA: Playground of Profit -
Receive Tourism :tourism: and Culture :c5culture: equal to 15% of your current Gold :c5gold: Per Turn. Great People :c5greatperson: have no maintenance and are produced 25% faster in cities in the middle of an Annual Grand Prix (The WLTKD for Monaco). When you have become Exotic :tourism: to a civilization receive 10% of their Gold :c5gold: output.

UU: Renown Gambler (Replaces Great Merchant) -
Can build Casinos which produce +3 Gold :c5gold: and +2 Culture :c5culture: when worked by a city, but both of these yields are doubled when worked during the Annual Grand Prix. Instead of performing trade missions with city-states :c5citystate:, the Renown Gambler can conduct "Gambling Deals" with City-States :c5citystate: which has a random chance or providing either a large sum of Gold :c5gold: or a large sum of Culture :c5culture: when expended.

UU: Prince's Carabinier (Replaces Rifleman) -
Has a promotion that allows it to repair pillaged tiles. Movement :c5moves: between sea and land within your borders costs 1 movement :c5moves: point. +15% strength when your current Gold :c5gold: output exceeds your Science :c5science: output.

Note: These civilizations are most likely going to be made so feedback is greatly wanted!

Monaco Civilization (Rainier III)
Special Thanks to ruhrgebietheld and Troller0001 for design assistance.

UA: Playground of Profit -
Receive tourism and culture equal to 10% of your GPT :c5gold:. Great people :c5greatperson: cost no miantenance. WLTKD's :c5happy: are replaced by a Grand Prix, which have all the effects of a WLTKD :c5happy: but also increase great people :c5greatperson: generation by 15%.

UU: Monte Carlo Casino (Replaces Hotel) -
Adds a base +4 tourism :tourism:, which doubles to +8 tourism :tourism: if you have 4 or less cities. Increases city's gold :c5gold: output by 10%.

UU: Prince's Carabinier (Replaces Rifleman) -
Has a promotion that allows it to repair pillaged tiles. When adjacent to coastal tiles, this unit ignores terrain costs :c5moves:. +15% strength when your current Gold :c5gold: output exceeds your Science :c5science: output.

Singapore Civilization (Lee Kuan Yew)

UA: Economical Infastructure -
When a city's production :c5production: is focused on a building that yields Gold :c5gold:, that city's outgoing trade routes produce +2 more Gold :c5gold: and your Food :c5food: output is increased by +2. Specialists yield +2 more of their primary yield, however this is doubled during Golden Ages :c5goldenage:.

UU: Multinational Corporation (Replaces Factory) -
For every 8 citizens :c5citizen: in the city where this is built gain +4 Gold :c5gold: and +2 Production :c5production:. The Production :c5production: amount is doubled to +4 Production :c5production: when a Golden Age :c5goldenage: is currently on-going.

UU: Bullpup Gunman (Replaces Rifleman) -
Can heal itself at 15% more than the normal rate. When pillaging :c5war: tiles gain experince equal to the amount you would get for initiating a melee attack :c5war:. Has no extra movement :c5moves: cost for crossing Jungle or Forest tiles.

These civilizations (Monaco, Sing and etc.) must have the next line in UA: 'Cannot gain settlers (nor annex cities)' beacuse these civs are city-states in real world. So you can enhance UA. Monte Carlo Casino may be UNW (replaces National Visitor Center), Multinational Corporation UNW (replaces National Visitor Center too).

Not necessarily. I mean, if the designs don't support a Venice-ing, they shouldn't have to include it. This is a game in which Dutch farmers in Africa can become a global power; I don't think it's too far fetched to have IRL city-states settle more than one city.

City names aren't really a problem either, Monaco could have at least eleven: Monte Carlo, Saint Roman, Larvotto, La Condamine, Monaco-ville, Fontveille, La Colle, Les Revoires, Moneghetti, Saint Michel and Le Portier. Singapore has plenty, as well.

Yup :D You are correct.
We have city names set up for Monaco already and Singapore can have more than a few.

On the multinational corporation, would it work like aristocracy where you need to get to 8 pop to get the bonus, or like a library, where you'd get half points? Because in the latter case it could be simplified, mathematically speaking.

It works like Aristocracy as it requires the 8 citizens :c5citizen: for the effect to pop off.

Revised the Singapore civilization.

Singapore (Lee Kuan Yew)
UA: Economical Ascension -
For every 2 Tourism :tourism: output by your civilization gain +2 Gold :c5gold: and +1 Culture :c5culture:, however this is increased by 15% during a Golden Age :c5goldenage:. Great People :c5greatperson: are earned +5% faster for every civilization you have become Exotic :tourism: with. (Max: 30%)

UU: Battalion -
Replaces Infantry. When attacking cities gain Culture :c5culture: or Gold :c5gold:. Has +10% strength :c5war: against civilizations with more Gold :c5gold: output.

UB: Multinational Corporation -
Replaces the Factory. For every 8 citizens :c5citizen: in the city where this is built gain +3 Gold :c5gold: and +2 Culture :c5culture:. During a Golden Age :c5goldenage: this building yields +4 Tourism :tourism:.

Battalion and multinational corporation are totally generic names.... And what cities did Singapore ever attack by land?!
I quite like the second part of the UA, though the second one seems a bit.. Odd. Shouldn't the design be, at least somehow, related to trade routes? Singapore's harbor is one of the world's busiest...

It's a matter of design. I usually (unlike some) make my designs by focusing on the leader's aspects first then the overall Civilization. Multinational Corporations were massively made by Lee Kuan Yew under his reign as Prime Minister and the Battalion was significant during his hold in office as well. I focus on the leader more so then the civilization, but that's just a personal choice for me when designing. :)

The design is nice, but....

1. Why would you give an offensive unit to a cultural civ? Im not saying its a bad unit, I'm saying that there's no need in conquering cities if you can get closer to victory by focusing on your own. That said, conquering cities can be critical in culture victories....
2. The UB is massively OP, even that late in the game. +1 global happiness per every ally is totally insane, especially since you didn't remove the Stadium's initial bonus.
3. Writing based bonus in the UA, a Medieval era UU and a late game UB? Seriously? Even if you aren't focusing on the leader, it makes no (historical) sense (for me at least) to put those uniques into a single design. Its obviously your call, and not everyone has to be as picky as me about time periods, but just saying...

Here's a reworked Aragon design as I see the flaws in the original design.

Aragon (James I)
UA: Patrón de las artes -

Huh. You learn something new everyday. Never knew Great Writers couldn't do anything until that Tech was researched.

They can make political treatises and the sort, but there's not much point in having a Great Writer before Amphitheatres.
