thanks a lot, for making Meiji.

A few pages c.q. months back I proposed a background.

And maybe this a background, as he replaced the old Nijūbashi-bridge during his reign. It's part of the Edo Castle. As residence of the Emperor, Tokyo became the Capital of Japan. And the european style of the bridge represents the end of the isolation of Japan
