Leaderhead Requests

Alright, y'all, enough hijacking of the discussion - and for the record, there's absolutely nothing wrong grammatically with "y'all", as it's a contraction of "you-all", and it's certainly more appropriate than "you guys" in a lot of situations!

Also, Madman...never say that they're disgusting around me again. Seriously. And I'm not using Hillary!

Well, maybe Sarah Palin?

Republican furs seem unheard of, though.

I don't think NikNaks was actually endorsing the use of 'they' as a singular pronoun, just noting that it is becoming more widely used.

I suspect that it will be pervasive in 10 years' time and 'correct' in about 30 when us old codgers are too feeble to protest anymore.
Sorry, but I don't see "They" being used as a singular pronoun ever being accepted by the masses as proper English... anymore then the "Tuck" rule being accepted as a perfectly logical NFL rule, despite it being used from time to time (and always having the same ridiculous idiotic results following its use... just like "They" as a singular pronoun).

I didn't say anything about y'all, I said "all y'all" is incorrect.

I'm sorry for starting this :(

Anyway, I want Henri IV.

He was the greatest king of France. He could be based off of Pericles, minus the helmet, plus Willem van Oranje's ruffles, plus Frontenac from Civ4Col's outfit.

Thanks very much.

D'oh. They is plural. Use he or she at your peril. Rule of thumb: use he (CFC skews male) unless aimeeandbeatles or LucyDuke.

No more of this nonsense.

Say what:confused:?

Hokay, time for a few real requests...

My Collector trait (insert LH joke here) decided to assert itself again today, so I decided I wanted to add in everyone that's ever appeared in a Civ game as a leader, or at least reasonable replacements for them. I found most of those who aren't already in [bts], but a few still haven't been seen:

Spoiler :
Eleanor Roosevelt - couldn't even begin to suggest who to base her on. :/
Spoiler :

Ishtari? (Babylonia) - Can't even figure out who this is supposed to be, unless it's some weird take on the goddess Ishtar. Definitely want some kind of Babylonian female, but up for suggestions on who it should be.
Cunobelinus (Celtia/Wales?) - Based on the one in the upper-left, maybe Suryavarman?
Spoiler :
Cunobelinus.gif

Hippolyta? (Greece) - Erm, Hippolyta was an Amazon, who according to Herodotus were even less Greek than the Macedonians. :p Still, seems like I oughta use her somewhere...Based on this pic, actually looks awfully close to Ekmek's Theodora, whoever she's based on...
Spoiler :

Indira Gandhi, as previously mentioned.
Amaterasu (Japan) - Uhm...well, maybe not so much. But definitely some Japanese female or other, and if she's based on this pic...uh, maybe Hatshepsut?
Spoiler :
Amaterasu_cave_edit2.jpg

Börte (Mongol) - Hmm...actually, Ekaterina looked a lot like this when she got older, so maybe use her?
Spoiler :

Sacagawea (NatAmer/Sioux) - Ooh, man, this one could take some work; I can't see anyone with that round a face, especially with the high indian cheekbones...
Spoiler :
sacagawea.jpeg

Osman I (Ottomans) - Actually, I think Qin Shi Huang would be a great base for him, with those big freakin' huge jowls.
x_osman_happy.jpg

Livia (Rome) - Isabella, maybe?
Spoiler :
livia.jpg

Gunnhild, Mother of Kings (Viking) - I think I'ma go with Liz on this one.
Spoiler :

Shakala? (Zulu) - I'm almost certain this one's fictitious, not even based on a mythological figure, just a permutation of "Shaka". Anyone for freestylin'? :p

I embarked on this civ quest before...but is this list from CTP?

@Ekmek: They're all Civ2, except for Osman obviously. I forgot one, though...

Friedrich I Barbarossa (HRE) - Someone requested him earlier, but didn't suggest a base or provide a pic. Honestly he looks an awful lot like Carolus Magnus in this pic, tho with lighter and maybe shorter hair, and possibly a fuller beard...hmmm, maybe Chuck with Ragnar's face and beard swapped in, and beard/hair colours made halfway between the two?
Spoiler :

Edit: Make that two...Philip II of Spain - I'm really not sure on this guy...maybe base him on Willem?
Spoiler :

@Mad Man: I meant MadmanOfALeader.

I use Simon Bolivar from Colonizations as Philip II... I requested one with a crown and I got it.

Unfortunately, no. He uses Isabella's crown, by the way.

I wonder why we don't have a decent John MacDonald of Canada yet.
