Learning Diety: Hateshput Re-roll

Hey Tachy, thanks! Will have a look into those! However, right now, I should be heading to bed as I have to be up in 3 hours for work! :lol: OMT has done it yet again :p

Congrats on your progress! I think you did very well on deity! :goodjob:

Considering that a loss is always more educational than a win, I think you have a good chance of winning the next one. I find that continents are usually difficult, since the other continent is hard to reach and they might do nasty things without your guidance :D

@Revent

Nice progress and typical multiple landmasses defeat.:)

I thought conquering of my own continent would only slow me down and that's why I went for oil based units until I changed my mind and went to space. Bombers, tanks, fighters, carriers, marines, transports capture land at tremendous rates. And if you fail, build research, tech Fission and Rocketry and with submarines and tactical nukes you get another chance.

Reload it and play it until you win it. I'll can tell you liberating cities gets you 1.5 positive diplo modifiers, so liberating 2 negates declaring war... There are also some civic and espionage stuff you can usually do but you probably tried to do that anyway.

But there was another thing you could have easily done for 30 votes. Farm everything, raise culture slider and grow cities to 20+ size. I can see from the screenshot your cities are small.
Too simple isn't it. :p

Keep up the good work!

Ah, I don't actually have enough saves for me to go back far enough to actually change the game! I tried nuking him down, but that didn't really work either. I sent spies over so that I could put the city into revolt giving me some more time to build lots of nukes, but he just won even after a triple nuke to his to be LC.

One of the best ways to learn in Civ is replay a map you lost, and learn from your mistakes. But I would say you lost due to not conquering your landmass fast enough. When you take almost every city on a landmass, and only leave a couple for your vassal it's very hard to lose.
