So, are you right handed or left handed?

I'm so right handed that it took a long time before my accuracy with shooting basketballs was better with two hands than one.

Left-handed and proud being so. I eat like a right-handed person though. Also I use the mouse with my right hand out of habit. However, I recently have gotten the impression that this kind of distressed me in a very subtle way. I also once read about research suggesting that left-handed people who are forced to write with their right hand may suffer mental harm.

Strength is left (throwing a football or baseball), dexterity is right (writing, batting, throwing a frisbee).

Right.

But "handedness" applies to other things too.

Like ears (me: L)
and eyes (R)
chewing (L)
feet (R)
and so forth.

Righty.

Sad story... My father was probably left-handed, but every time he attempted to write with his left hand, the nuns at the Catholic school he attended would rap his knuckles with a ruler. This was probably c. 1925. As a result, he wrote right-handed to his dying day, though when it came to things like baseball and bowling he was a lefty.

Yes, I've heard of this before. Dory Previn sang a song about it. The left is the "sinister" side, you see. Superstitious claptrap, I call it.

Left-handed here. Odd fact: all the men in my family for the last three generations are left-handed. I suspect genetic funny business.
