Whoops. Yes, sounds good. I've got a rare but non-valuable mineral in mind for you, and likely a book to go with it.
Now you can't go unilaterally upping the ante!
I have no good books on fossils.I can print from wikipedia though and paste it into a book.
I'm not! It's just a nice pairing, especially since the mineral sample is so modest - smaller than half a coffee bean.

Any one care to place a bet on the future of the International Space Station?
There's debate right now about whether or not they will continue operating it past 2020 (the currently-scheduled end of life point) or if they will decommission/deorbit it. There's a discussion in this article about this issue and Winner and I have been discussing it in the last page or so of the Thread for Space Cadets.
The bet is:
I will bet a six-pack of terrible American beer that the International Space Station will be abandoned without plan to re-occupy it and/or will be planned to be de-orbited after Dec. 31, 2020.
I wager a six-pack of bad beer (Natural Light) because I want the counter-wager to be an equally terrible beer because I don't want to be celebrating this in style if I'm right.
Hell, I don't even want this to happen but I think the odds are pretty close. Any takers?
