sure Ek, I'll see what I can create here .. If I paint the medals and detail the uniform, would that help ? or should I put medals on a different dds ?

Yes... the eagle looks much-improved... but it does look a "tad squished" from the original... I assume this is from something that happens when it's overlayed onto the fez in-game?
If so, you can counteract the squishing of the eagle by stretching the canvas of the eagle in a paint program before putting it into the DDS. If (for example), the image is 50w x 50h before putting it in the DDS, try stretching the canvas to 60w x 50h before importing... that might counteract the squishing. You can give that a try and see if it works... if not, it's at least better then it was before.
Hmmm... just had a thought... was it "squished" width-wise, or did it get "stretched" height-wise? One way or the other, something didn't scale correctly when it was put into the DDS. Might want to play-around a little-bit with the eagle so that it doesn't look squished or stretched on the hat.

I have a large square eagle image, it may be squished because of polygon shape. the tga is perfectly square. so I'll work to adjust that.
its tough getting a good idea on the shape of the hat sometimes it looks rounded and some images have that "comb over" thing.

After You'll finish Mussolini, the hat could be used also for an italian modern general unit... So we could have more diversity

I thikn I have the hat textured fairly well. I know there is supposed to be a stripe in there but I don't see it in all the hat pictures.
I worked on the background too.

Curious as to what his traits wil be - maybe Charismtic and Spiritual (spiritual because he took power without anarcy or revolution just a protest).
I have a good idea who to use for his personality. Anyone that invades Greece from Albania and then loses half of Albania has Montezuma's personality all over it.

he looks pretty swank with the Iron Cross on his neck. Is that an accurate usage of that medal ?

candy bar? iron cross? what the hell are you guys talking about? The colar and tie are from de gaulle's uniform i added back in. the candy bar is the roman fasces, the symbol of Fascism (and oddly located on the wall of the US house of represenatives too)

Yes! It was an ancient roman symbol. It's still used as symbol of the Frenche Repubblic!
