Life Exectancy Calculator

86 years and the best way to increase it is to get a liftime partner, stop drinking alcohol and start eating aspirin(?).

84.
I find that 'realage.com' or whatever it is has a more comprehensive set of questions.

I got 89 years, which is pretty impressive given how much cancer was in my grandparents (though two of them were extensive eaters of processed pork, so there is little surprise).

There were a couple areas where the author was using combined averages to make his guess. The coffee question, for example, I'd bet. A portion of the population is benefitted from drinking 3 cups of coffee a day; 2/3rds are harmed: this would be based on whether or not you had a certain gene.

The question about marriage is because married people tend to live longer. Aspirin is showed to reduce heart risks (though, imo, by attacking the symptom, not the cause)

However, the predictor says that I have a 50% chance of being dead by the time I'm 89. I wonder if that's at current rates? I'd hope so, because I'm pretty optimistic regarding what 40 years of medical advances will do.

edit: of course, I think that we should be privately and publically funding research in how to delay aging. The societal and economic benefits would be well, well worth the investment. And personally, I wouldn't mind either.

81 years.. Hrmm not too bad. :D

I got 76 years

What does "zip code" mean?

I no speak English good all time. :p

ZIP stands for Zone Improvement Plan. It is a series of numbers that are assigned to all sections of the United States to facilitate postal delivery.

I'm assuming your question was not a jest. ;)

84 years! All right!

What does "zip code" mean?

Enter random letters and numbers, on my part :mischief:

 Nicely done; I wonder what city you wound up with (not that it necessarily has a lot of weight anyway). (zip codes are just a five-digit number assignment for each city (or area) in the U.S., done by the post office for mail sorting (I think the first three digits signify a region, the latter two a city or area within a large city)

In case it'd be of any help at all to anyone (just to have something to enter), here are some representative zip codes from around here:

Pop - City - Zip Code
~5000 - Westby - 54667 (<- Here be Norwegians ;) ) (I know it's not Finnish, but it's the closest I could get for Hitti-Litti; this town is predominantly imported Norwegians.)
10000 - Sparta - 54656 (My hometown and later source of my nickname)
50000 - La Crosse - 54601
200000 - Madison - 53701 (Go Badgers!)
600000 - Milwaukee - 53201 (May lower life expectancy ;) )
10000000 - Chicago - 60601 (Here be Whomp)

(And if anyone knows of a specific U.S. city that would be a good fit for them, here is the U.S. post office's zip code lookup utility (annoyingly, it insists on including a street, so just go with "Main" if you are unfamiliar with any addresses, since most cities here will include a Main Street).)

... And I got 78 years as well.

Edit: Wow, I am slow. ;)

Your calculated life expectancy is 83years.

Damn! and I wanted to live forever:(
