As always, good story, Azash. ;)

They say happiness lies in the little things - and indeed, this made my evening :) Thanks.

So Azash are you going against us?(by your story...)

@Cleric: I will, but only as long as you support the mindless horde itself. That is my one true target.

Prepare to phail at anything you planed...I have shades everywhere!Mwahahaha!

Heinrich Kemmler wandered through the deserts, He was searching, searching for a solution.

He cast his mind back to recent months, The Dragon God, killing his Kings physical form, and destroying his Pyramid, truly it was a tomb. He could still here him, screaming in anguish, His will bending the zombies around him.

Still this was not the position Heinrich foresaw them in. He saw them conquering these weak fools, Ur and the rest. Making their petty alliances, to threaten US! He was searching.

Over the rolling sand dunes, blasted black in places, an Occasional destroyed Zombie decaying putrid innerds hanging out being devoured by the ravens and vultures.....The Birds were new, all life had been killed, but these birds, their souls were stained red. Their eyes gleamed with the darkness inside them. He was getting closer.

To the West lay the Glass Throne, or the remenants. To the East lay the Nile, blazing alight. It could be seen from miles away, dark smoke curling up into the sky. He was near.

He was in the Wastelands, known as such since the very founding of Khemri. The Wastelands of Nagash.

As soon as he had heard on the wind, the great wrench as the Lich Kings soul was torn asunder from his body, dark words had whispered in his ear, commanding him to search for the last great nexus point. The only one great enough to raise him.

The Lich King knew the history, he WAS the History. Heinrich had also studied this, in his research to extend his life. It all came back to Nagash. All the Khemrian magic, everything. He knew that the Black Pyramid had never truly been destroyed, indeed it was simply forgotten and swallowed up by the sands of time.

This was the last Great Nexus point. But it was dangerous, wards protected it, subtle and powerfull. They would trip up any lesser Mage than he. He could sense them now, their power had waned they were weak. He laughed. Nagash must be growing weak! He had little to fear, he storde forward, chanting, sigils and runes shattered around him.

He walked down the Vally of Darkness.

And before him covered in sand, lay the last monument to Nagash's Power. He walked up to it, it was Black. So black he felt himself sliding over its surface, unable to touch it. It was cold, almost unbearable cold. He searched for an opening mechanism.

He found a goblet.

Runes surrounding it, the pedestal bore the markings of the legions of the Dead that Nagash commanded. Heinrich took his sacraficial knife out. He slit his wrist and dripped some of his crimson blood into the goblet.

He could hear slurping, as if it were consumed. He watched in horrid fasination as the undead soldiers marking the pedestal writhed, moving. Then Clicked.

An area of the Black Pyramid opened up. Inside he could see torches lighting up with purple hellfire. He walked in. And in. And in. The lights continued lighting up in front of him, and disappearing behind him.

It was only after a few hours of this that he realised that he was slowly curling upwards. To the centre of the Pyramid.

The lights stopped, before him lay a copper Door. Massive in size and adorned with the linities from the 9 books of Nagash. He went to open them, when they creaked inwards and opened.

Before him sat a throne. He went towards it and set about to work.

He sat down on the Throne, preperations finished. He began chanting the linity of summoning, marking his flesh. Commanding it to join him. To take this shell. A cloud of Purple shot towards him, he could sense his King. Then it stood cowering in fear. Heinrich looked up, a cloud of purest black shot towards him and the Purple essence. At its fore a skull. It consumed his King. Then It consumed him. Whispering "Who did you think you were? You pretentious fool"

When it was done, Nagash Rose once again, in full command of the Zombies, Heinrichs and the Liches Kings soul residing in him.

OOC: Like my new leader ?

@Cleric: Yeah. he's actually the mastermind behind the wall of enemies facing us. This is him, hatching out another evil plan to cement his domination over the entire world. Observe:

Story bonuses???Or did they affect the update in a positive way....

My story bonuses are now more subtle. For example, Khemri's story makes me think of the Horde as being under a far more powerful being, so they will function with greater intelligence, maybe winning a battle more here or there with fewer losses or greater casualties for the enemy.
