LINESII- Into the Darkness- Part III

Though the Gorin are no longer a nation I am here as before leading the rebelion.

Edit:- "Gorin" exist however is a puppet, i do not assume control over this, just the rebel Bajo-Oni

@Shadowbound: Iggy mostly summed up the history of the region, through I see that he failed to mention that Dengarai and the Achostai are somewhat closely allied : ).

{Note: We have yet to work out all the differences and generally nature of Oneism, but the brief summary following is what I perceive.}

The relationship between Orthodox Oneism and Pirian Oneism resembles a relationship between two sects upon the surface, but under the skin they differ greatly. Pirian Oneism is descended from the Orthodox, with its main body derived from the Hypandian Scripts and (over time) slightly modified from the original Valin ideals. The Hypandian Scripts are an 'archaic' version of what the Valins call the Suma (the religious book) that first brought to light by Pire, after visiting the Middle Keran Range, during the time when it formed the border between Davar and Tristaria. Pirians consider this version to be a more pure form of scripture, and its adaption is typically called the Durma. The biggest three differences in the sects lie with the perception of the One, the differentiating values of life and honor, and the role of clergy.

OOC: feel free to evlove how you like, and use this information, since I have no clue what to do with it. just feel the need to get it out there. Pathian Oneism (also know as Emorian Oneism). Central Principals are more centered on the individual person and their relation to The One then Orthodox Oneism, with the Cleragy being regulated to a guiding and advisment roll then true leadership. very strongly belives religion should be kept our of politics, or at least in the background. some bladest elements have been incorperated, and they do belive the bladest Blademaster is another name for The One (though of course, the bladest are worshiping him wrongly, but atleast they are worshiping him). largest element of this inclusion is the practice of all Pathian Oneist learning some form of swordsmanship, though most only practice basic sword forms.

OOC: Heresy to you. not to them emorians are still around and scattered all over the place outside oneist lands, mostly in enclaves in various non-onest cities. think of them as this worlds Jews if you must. I did emphasize their high work ethic to iggy and sent him plans to as such. still, not going to be doing anything more with them, so I just though I would put it out there for somebody else to use. think of it as background.

hmm, any prominent Oniest nations that could be taken Lord Iggy?

There's a scattering of Emoran groups here and there, with slightly higher concentrations Khemri, Dengarai and Zamdar (of course, it may be hard to find a weird little group that hasn't found its way to Zamdar at some point ;)).

never said it wasn't herasy to them. or that it was widly practiced, just that it exists in some form outside oneist's lands. and it was an info dump so sombody else can use it, so let's just drop it and get onto other matters.

again, any recomendaions Lord Iggy on a oneist nation I could play?

The nature of the Path of the One being rather disorganized and unofficial, most Emorans still follow it in spirit, even if they go through the motions of being Orthodox or Pirian.

Kalmar's open.

EDIT: And ~Dark~, the Oneists of the world include Qingdao, Neaveritas, Paleaveritas, Half of Aryie, Kalmar, Dengarai, Achostai, Norvalin, and a handful of small populations elsewhere.

Erh, I don't really believe that Iggy. Based upon what TerrisH said, I don't believe that the two ideals could coexist. The Religion isn't promoted state-wide within the Achostai, but previous entities were. Pirians also believe that the other religions are heretical by nature and are not in any form representative of the One. They are nothing more than false idols. The whole personal relationship with the One is highly regulated, and the clergy play a strong role within the Pirian community.

Gamorrea please.

I will come back to play Croyodon. Like I said in PM, I saw the notice that I recieved a PM to come back and play. I just could not ignore it.
