"Know only this. One might be outnumbered, out supplied, and even outsmarted...but if you, commander, can force the enemy to a battlefield of your choosing, why, it is over before it begins!
-Stratikrator Andros, Tacitus and War, 454 P.D

"Damn stones."
"Stop grumbling. You know we have to pile them."
"But why? Ye One, it's stupid enough to even be here."
"Eh, be quiet. We aren't commoners, are we?"
"I suppose not."
"So we don't use the One's name in vain. Stop acting like a child, Edras."
"Oh, but it's all so pointless! We haven't even seen the cursed Zibonese in at least a fortnight."
"You mean...you haven't seen them."
"Wha...?"
"Look, over near the dale."
"That's a tree, Adrellian."
"No, no. To the left. The big, angry mass of dark-skinned warriors. The ones running toward us."
"Oh, I see them now."
"Edras?"
"Yes, Adrellian?"
"I think we should run now."
"That seems like a good idea."

"In what text, new or old, was it ever written that we had to be peaceful? Sure, it's a good thing to do between wars...but you can't spread Order peacefully to those who won't take it. There are heretics all across the globe, Councilman...they worship rocks, mountains, spirits and demons. How do you expect those kinds of people to come quietly?"
-Host-Lord Edrillius,
The Trial of the Commander, 415 P.D.

Zibonians. Ever had the Tellium Host fought them.
Decadion* Callis told tales that they were the first manifestations of Chaos on the world. Others said that they were demons. Born of the spawn of Sin himself, their skin turned to that color by their age old curse.
All that Levyman Edras knew was that he didn't want to fight them. The boy was born on a small homestead outside of Salvation. Edras would soon face the first test of his life, one that would define him.
OOC: But I haven't written that yet.
*A
Decadion commands a unit of ten Levymen, and has duties similar to a sergeant. He serves under a
Tactica, similar to a Captain, who in turn reports to a
Septilion, who reports to a
Host-Lord. In later periods when the Veritasan Army grew past 10,000 men, several Host-Lords reported to one, (or more, depending on how many ten thousands there were) supreme commander, called a
Stratikrator.
EDIT: By the way Iggy, Veritasans can't pronounce Zarz in their language, so rename it Tellium, please.
