LINESII- Into the Darkness

I want greatest "Peaceful Rise" award :D

EDIT: 69 more posts to beat das's NES2V The Great Game! :D

Guangfei wasn't a totally peaceful rise, although it was close. Although you'd probably get 'greatest rise' anyway. You're the economically strongest nation at this moment, with Khemri's current problems and partial occupation.

About Great Game, yeah... only a matter of time. But I don't think we'll try to beat RTOR2 (that's the current highest I believe), it's kind of hallowed at the moment. I figure if this NES lasts another few threads I might be worthy. But not yet.

Why don't we close it when we get to 5000 replies? That's a great milestone, but still leaves some room for RTOR2 (14 whole posts :p).

Ah, dear iggy, who's to argue otherwise? The victors write history and if I decide to say that Shangei decided to join Guangfei in a benevolent and peaceful way who will argue? ;) You? You're just the mod :p

In the matter of RTOR2, it's well known it was a nes run by antiques and derelicts. LINESII is the WAVE OF THE FUTURE MAN! :goodjob: And it had multiple mods too... And the rules were a lot simpler so technically... :D

And the giver of awards.

I mentioned how great, benevolent, charitable, friendly, charismatic and hardworking you are right? And how really great, really great you are too right ;) :p

Actually, he's tied with Kehexou :)

We've yet to see if anything you've done will last. Khemri could theoretically force you back to sea with a well-played turn. You are in something of a strategically difficult situation, with one large force behind you and one before you- the Khemri royal family and whatever army they can scrounge together.

Okay, stats not including update events done down to between Gerber and Gorin. I'm going to sleep, I'll finish in the morning.

Need I warn you, people who point out stat errors before I'm done stats will be shot by my agen- I mean... given a confidence penalty.

Scrounge Scrounge Scrounge.

Maybe I should appeal to the rhama dahma again...*ponders*

Out of curiousity, Iggy, how do you update without doing stats? For example, how do you compare armies, etc? I would find it harder to update without doing stats at the same time...

I do the math in my head.

Also, some folks make it easier by saying how many troops are where etc.

Anyway, finishing stats. Sorry for the lateness.

I'd probably get "quickest fall", through that isn't really a good thing ;].

Iggy feel free to take your time to fix em, but I feel myself compelled to help you out with mistakes ;]. First, I know I'm special and everything, but two descriptions? ;]. Second, the government isn't a republic. I doubt that I put it into the story, but the first Bishop took complete control over the exodus, and thusly destroyed any chances of a republic. After his death his power fragmented, so it'd be something like a dual bishop rule. Not sure if theres a name for it, so just go with Dual Consols.

The Lord Kaiser stared at the messenger from the Lengel, who was beginning to get uncomfortable since Dashada hadn’t said anything since the messenger read out the Lengel’s peace proposal. ~Listen to the barbarian go on~ Dashada smirked to himself ~Don’t listen to him~. His hand twitched involuntarily.

“Very well, on be half of the Gorinese Empire I, Lord Kaiser Dashada Oborski signs the Treaty of Wardash” He said as he signed the parchment and handed it to his aid, who then, handed it to the Lengel messenger. ~I can’t believe you did that! Signed peace with a barbarian!~ “You may leave” He said with a dismissive hand. ~Coward!~ “shut up” he muttered under his breath, seemingly to no one.

“Lord Kaiser?” His aid asked

“What? Oh, yes go get me those scrolls on the new road to Drago bitte” Dashada said promptly.

“Yes Lord Kaiser” The aid said, bowing out of the Kaiser chambers.

~You coward! Do not try to silence me~

“I will not have you interrupting me again”

~I am you!~

“You are a fiction of my insanity and you will stay in your room”

~I am not some child Dashada! You cannot banish me like your stupid subjects~

“Lord Kaiser?” The aid stepped in, balancing a mound of scrolls rather precariously in his arms “Who are you talking to?”

“To Dula, not bring the scrolls I have no time for delays”

Because indefinite NAPs tend to be meaningless, we'll agree to a three turn NAP, with option to be renewed.

Glory to the Oneist Exiles! :)
