That was quick.
Roster:
Arathorn
T_McC (I remember you from such SGs as LotR13 Schizo SGers)
LKendter (once again possibly the only one to have used all the UUs before)
Jabah (in time this time)
Refar (and a near-virgin)
Lee didn't vote, but the rest seemed in favor of aggressive AIs. I was leaning that way, too, but wanted to make sure it fit the personality/mood of the team. I'll do that.
Haven't checked the mod yet, but how did you decide between competing replacements for the same unit? (Praetorians vs. Jags vs. Gallics) Or are they all enabled?
They're all enabled. Causes an oddity that chariots will show "+100% vs. axemen" three times, for example, as I had to reproduce the entire unit class. For melee, mounted, etc. though, it took care of itself and all works.
I will try to avoid a really whacko turn report this time. IIRC that was the game that my brain was civ fried, and I produced a very strange report talking about the Borg.
Are you talking about
this post? That was actually quite funny. I wouldn't complain about another report like that!
11 civ on a standard map, that will mean early wars, and probably not only between us and the AI, could be interesting if one AI dominates quickly the "other" hemisphere and try to run away with the game...
I hope it means early wars, yes. Many of the UUs come quite early (warrior, 2 archer, 2 war chariot, 2 horse archers, 3 axemen, 3 swordsmen, 2 spearmen), so we'll need/want some earlyish wars to see how they interact/relate. And, a semi-run-away AI on the other continent would be a nice late-game challenge, so we don't own our continent and sleepwalk the rest.
I would play too, if you think you can live with a unexperienced player.
Refar -- I hope that's just SG inexperienced. I don't have a problem with newbies (everybody has to start somewhere, sometime), but you need to be pretty comfortable at Monarch level to play this. If you're new to Civ4 BtS, I'm gonna ask you to step down. Either way, I recommend you read
Lee's rules for SG conduct. I don't follow exactly the same ruleset (and obviously can't ban you from the LK series!

), but pretty much the spirit of those rules.
