I've been playing Civ 4 on and off since it first was released, but only been able to beat noble... Found this forum, lurked for a day reading basic strat articles and my next two games on prince were a walk in the park. Will move up to monarch for the next game, though the prince games have been so easy that I'm tempted to go straight for emperor!

I wish you the best of luck, my friend. Civ does terrible things.... to your social life, that is. Prepare yourself, for the terrors of addiction.

I play monarch, huge, marathon, BTW. Takes me a while to finish a game.
