M-NOTW XI: The Murderer's Web

Autolycus we can all plainly see that Sonereal was innocent, unless you're suggesting he was a vigilante killer. I still think someone in your little Heiress pack may be responsible. Also, I know I am myself so I don't think that's the best reason to believe the detective is lying, he was right about me. It might be better if I vote for civplayah if we get that worked out, but if being mistaken about something is a bad thing, you were quite wrong about Sonereal.
Of course I meant he might be a vig killer, Earthling.

Can we do support votes?

Oh! Well, I'm a politician. Friend of the millionaire's family. He was a sponsor. He cut my funding, and his brother offered me more money if I killed the millionaire.

WHAT.
Civplayah.

What does the inspector say about all this? We have not heard from him.

Sorry, been away playing Airsoft for the first time ever the last 24 hours. I....uh...have...no clues.

But good ol' Hughes is always right (usually). We should arrest civplayah!

Yeah, I think I'm willing to trust our lead on Autolycus civplayah, something doesn't add up, we'll see if locking him up keeps everyone else safe.

civplayah is scummy, but my question about support votes remains unanswered.

Day 3

As the waining sun set on the 3rd Day, the case took a new turn as the Detective revealed results from his investigation.

"I have concluded from available evidence that civplayah the Politician is undoubtedly guilty," accused WInston.

"No, I am not guilty! The Millionaire's brother offered me money to help him kill you all but I refused!" Shouted civplayah.

"WHAT!? Arrest him!" Retorted Seon.

And so they did, he was dragged to the pantry and handcuffed in place.

"Is that it?" Asked Takhisis.

"I suppose so. Anyone want a cup of coffee?" Asked the Chef.

Unsurprisingly no one wanted coffee, so they had tea and enjoyed conversation of current world affairs even though each of them had the thought of the killer in the back of there minds.

Night 3

Takhisis tossed and turned in bed. He couldn't sleep. He looked at his wife the Heiress next to him, he was afraid for her being next in line she would certainly be targeted soon he would protect her as long as he could but he sensed that his life might be in it's waining hours. He walked down stairs to get a drink when he saw someone sitting at the dining table.

He jumped but was releaved when he saw who it was.

"Can't sleep?" He asked.

"No, you?" Responded the person.

"Not a wink."

"Let me fix that for you." with that the person at the dining table whipped out a gun and shot Takhisis in the chest. He walked back up to his room ready for tomorrow.

Spoiler :
Takhisis was shot! He was innocent.

---

As Autolycus awoke she noticed Takhisis was not beside her. She got up and went to look for him, when she reached the dining room she let out a earsplitting scream. Everyone soon rushed to her.

When they arrived they saw the body of Takhisis in a pool of blood.

"Oh dear," said the detective.

Autolycus was nearly hysterical.

"Somebody get here out of here and calm her down," ordered the Detective.

Everyone except DrumStudent and the Inspector quickly shuffled the Heiress out of the room.

"What happened to civplayah?" Asked DrumStudent.

"Let's see."

They went to the pantry to find him in there and completely unscathed.

"No visitors tonight?" Asked Winston. "I guess that means your one of the killers, the other didn't want to kill his own ally. Well Inspector what do you think?"

"We can't keep him here the other killer might break him out," he saw in the eyes of the Detective that he agreed there was only one way. He shrugged and pulled out his revolver and did away with the corrupt politician.

Spoiler :
civplayah was shot! He was a killer!

The Inspector sighed at what he had just done. But still it was better a killer die then another innocent.

It is now day, VOTE!

How very bloody rude of you!

Well, let's nail the b:)stard that did this. Civplayah implicated my uncle, but his testimony is suspect at best. In addition, if their goal is to eliminate all those mentioned in the will, tying my uncle up would be the worst thing we could do. The detective has proven his merit, vindicating the groundskeeper, and catching civplayah. That leaves the cook and my best friend, if I presume the law to be above suspicion. Unless you know better, detective, I think we should lock up landlubber.

Sure. tying up landlubber seems to be the best solution here.

Last night, I saw a man in the hall. I fired at him with my revolver, but he got away. Might have been civplayah. Might not have been. But in any case, I suspect the guys. Arrest landlubber!

I suppose I should defend myself. Well...
I've worked for the millionaire for a long time. Long did I faithfully serve him. However, the rest of his staff and I didn't really get along, so at one point I thought of quitting. However, I stayed to cook him one last meal, and was very surprised when he wound up dead. The official ruling on the case was poisoning, but I had nothing to do with the killing of the millionaire.

Detective, how do you know he killed the butler? Does this mean you know whether or not he killed my husband? The butler was shot, as was my husband. I think I'll let landlubber off the hook and say we need to die up my uncle Seon tonight.
