Mandatory Abortion

The root cause of all major problems afflicting the country/world is people being born that shouldnt. Im talking about teen pregnancies, crack moms, dirt poor dumbasses with eleven kids... etc.

My Rules for a Better World:
1. No children born to anyone under the age of 26. This is old enough to have gone to college, hopefully matured, and begun a stable life.

2. Anyone who becomes pregnant before this age shall have a mandatory abortion, period.

3. Anyone who violates rule two three times will be sterilized.

4. Any teen who becomes pregnant will have an abortion. The person who impregnated this teen will be sterilized.

5. Any man who rapes/impregnates a woman agaisnt her will shall be sterilized.

5. Birth control pills will be mandatory for men and women not trying to have a baby.

6. Anyone wishing to have a baby must have an ample, stable income.

7. No child shall have less than two parents.

8. Mandatory Background checks on all potential parents, for things like sex abuse, violent crimes, etc.

9. Condoms, morning after pills, and other forms of contraception shall be distributed for free in vending machines in all schools from elementary on up. The shall also be free at any drug store, or can be picked up at anonymous places.

10. Any abortions/sterilizations will be confidential, it being up to the person to notify anyone they are in a relationship with.

11. NO MORE RELIGIOUS BULLSHITE!

I agree that too many people have kids, that shouldn't. But, that philosophy is simply ridiculous. And a bit stupid, I might add. I agree with you in no way on this matter.

Reasons why I don't like penvzila anymore.
1)

You used 5. twice!!!!! Bastard.

2) You opened another topic on abortion while there is still another one going on!!!! You should rename this topic "penvzila's plan for population control." Then I won't have to close it.....and you won't piss so many people off when they read your post.

3) Although I agree with most of your points and you general idea.....I have a problem with 6, 7, and 8.

3-6) Ample or stable income. Unfortunatally that discludes 75% of the world (just guessing there, but the number would be big) I think I see where your coming from.....but if this rule was in place I probably wouldn't be here right now. We hit rough time for 6 years......very little money. But here I am......working at Dell. (Yeah....right now. There aren't any calls coming in though. I'm strictly battery recall today...anyway)

3-7) Or maybe I just need clarification on what you mean by two parents. I assume they could both be male or female. But my biggest problem is that it would probably force people to stay in a relationship that they don't enjoy. (Can't get divorced because of the kids.) Also what if a parent dies? Does the widow HAVE to get remaried? What is the punishment for breaking this rule?

3-8) I can see the benefit of this....but it's like an invasion of privacy. People make mistakes and can still turn out to be great parents. (Unless you follow my idea of every crime carring the death penatly....then there would be no crime.)

There is an excellent tongue-in-cheek essay by Robert Frost to this effect.

Sheer Stupidity: Anyone who rapes a woman/man is put into prison, no questions asked. They're likely not going to get back out again until they're penis is rendered inactive (why the whole sterilization thing-just put them in prison and get them some counseling!)

I have a problem with your number six. What is your definition of a stable income? Many parents don't have it as it is but they're children get by and end up living middle class lives and getting blue collar jobs.

We make certain sacrifices to have our freedom, and people should be able to do what they want. I sure hope the rules i posted never become law anywhere.

The rule about contraception being widely available is a good one, though. By your own arguements people shouldnt be forced to do anything, and therefore young adults and teenagers should have all the knowledge and safety equipment they need.

Furthermore, i would like to amend my statement about hte worlds problems, teen pregnancy and religion (the two are linked) are the root cause of every major human problem on the face on the earth.

Penvzila, you have some major problems.
People have the right to choose their own fate. If you sterilize every man for screwing his chick or getting her pregnant we won't have any guys in the world that can get the deed done. You must be the Anti-Christ.
I myself plan on starting a family soon. I do agree that people shouldn't have a baby unitl they're financially stable meaning have a steady job. I'm all for people in at the age of 20 having kids as long as they can provide for them.
I wouldn't go around chopping off guys nuts because they got their girl pregnant.
I'd like to get married myself in my 20's it might even happen while i'm in college since Architecture school will take some years to complete.
If someone has 11 kids they obviously wanted to have that many, my grandmother had 7kids herself.
