Many Leaders Game 2 - Sword Training

For those who haven't chosen a civ/aspect, here are some things I'm definitely going to try in SP in addition to the ones already reserved:

  • Gilgamesh (Vulture rushing + early espionage)
  • Charlemagne (city sprawling with rathauses)
  • Suleiman (mad GP farms with hammams)

Ok, finally have my BTS disk ( this is the only time so far that I thank to the heavens for being working in the post office ( if not, I would only get it tomorrow or tuesday ) ) Playing my first game....
Spoiler :
RNG gave me a 3 clam 1 wheat start for D. João II ( Imp/Exp ) = :whipped: settlers and workers. Having war with Ethiopia ( they whip like hell now  ). Espionage makes a lot of diference in here too.

Ok. Just got a letter.

"Dear Receiver,

There are not enough copies at the moment, so you will have to wait with many others to July 12th."

That's basically what it said...

ARGGHHH

Heck with that, i canceled and i'm getting it at EB Games.

I hope to have it by tomoroo.

Yah i know so i canceled the order, and i'm gonna buy it at EB Games. I'll have it tomorow is they have it in stock that is.

OK, I'm going to post a starting position tonight and I'll post the starting saves on the first post over the next few days.

Can those who haven't picked a leader do so in the next little while.

We'll start of this weekend, with a deadline for Friday next week for the first 50 turns (up to 2000BC).

Reporting:

Try and treat it like a normal SG game. Give as much info as posible about your tactics, plans etc. Screenshots are good, particularly those relatating to BtS content. Can every post a screenshot of their UU and UB and say how useful they are etc?

Anyway, i don't like to do warmongering, but i'll give it a shot in BTS with Augustas's new traits.

I'm also going to try Espionage a bit.

The preference is for new leaders (I also don't think Augustus' traits changed). If you want some warmongering Justinian and Gilgamesh are good.

(I also don't think Augustus' traits changed)
AC is the only past leader whose traits were changed, from Creative and Organized to Imperialistic and Industrious

I'll sound like a hypocrite after saying I probably won't get it right away, but I'll see if it is in stocks in Canada tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have it then.

Woah, looks like we pulled off a good start here! Seems good for what I had in mind, more about it in my first report

I wanted to have a coastal save (for those persuing naval objectives) and enough land on the island for a domination win (for those warmongers amongst us). I actually rolled a killer start first time, 3 food in the capital and gold and gems nearby one the main continent by the coast, until I realised I forgot to put non-BtS opponents. When I checked the World Builder save, I saw that Willem and de Gaulle were opponents, so started again, and chose who we're up against.

It took another 10 regenerates to get the right conditions.

Looks like a good Capital. Should have good health. Plenty of food for my Oromo Warriors.
