Correct me please if I'm wrong, but when Afforess introduced Mastery Victory condition into AND, If you selected Mastery it Superseded and Included ALL Victory conditions. So if you picked Mastery you essential selected all victory settings with the add stipulation of having a iirc 60% advantage in all conditions. Has it been modified for C2C or am I just a confused

?
Yeah, it'll override all the others really. Which makes it kinda cool because they're all there but none but a full Mastery play out will determine actual victory. It means we'll be able to have things like the space race, the apostolic palace and UN without those causing incidental victories. We'll call the game at some point anyhow.
I think we will need further discussion on several categories.
PerfectMongoose Map is top selection. It has several categories not mentioned/considered except but by TBrd.
1.Pangaea: Allow or Meteor Break be used? I would prefer the Meteor break
2. Rivers, 4 settings to be decided on which to use: Random, Few, Default, Plenty.
3. Resources, also 4 settings: (smae as above).
4. Climate system: PW2 or PW3
I included my votes. Very strongly in favor of Plenty of Rivers since we all should have a roughly equivalent starting position and that seems to accomplish this as best as can be done. Nothing is worse than a map shy on rivers!
Some ppl voted for and succeeded on several options that I think will never come into play, Modern Corps and Realistic Corps come to mind immediately. Just a question, but, does anyone really think it will get that far?
I hope so but I don't see how corporations benefit anyone on Realistic Corps.
Under Bug Options:
DetailedRevindex will it be usable considering REV will not be used? I don't know so I'm asking.
We got a NO to NO Rev so we have Rev (sadly).
Diplomacy and Start as Minor. Under SaM, Diplomacy is allowed at Writing Tech. So for the 1st 45,000+ gameyears ( on Epic speed about 200+ turns) there will be No Diplomacy and we are All at War. Therefore a free for all.
Yeah
No Tech Brokering, if you didn't research it you can't trade it. Sure you all want that?
It keeps tech trading from creating a big runaway effect.
Something I missed on the list or I'm confused over. Are we allowing Barbarians in the Game?
And Barb World I didn't see it on the list or for it to get voted for or against.
I think it was voted against which simply means there won't be annoying barb cities getting in the way of hunting grounds before we can do anything about them.
We voted out Barb Civ (fine with that). Cause if there are No Barbs in the game then the voted on selection of Barb Generals is in conflict.
No... we voted out NO Barb Civ so there will be the potential for AIs to emerge from Barbs.
It was mentioned that if we do not have Barbs then animals will not be available? ??
We did not vote to have NO Barbarians ON so we will have Barbarians.
No it's not. It requires the culture ANYWAY, because the building requires influential culture.
Sure but it still mutes the benefit of plugging out culture to reach the third line an era or two before the building becomes available!
Oh, I hadn't spotted that. I totally agree - unlimited Wonders sucks - its another thing that locks in a lead because the leader can continue to use their most efficient production city to spam every Wonder as they tech to them. It also devalues culture, since without it you need more culture to unlock the ability to add more Wonders.
It makes the planning of cities WAY to big a headache, particularly with National Wonders!!! However, with the massively increased build times and some good competitive human players, I don't think we'll have any problems with major runaway Wonder Captures. Usually if there IS such a problem, it often means that nation has made itself a great target by gambling too much production on building the wonders and not enough military. And this makes the Wonder hoarding city all the more desirable to invade and capture, no? Let them build it and we will come?
