Plague Spreads
The reborn plague has left the Khadi lands, following trade to their Amurite and Malakim neighbors. Though the Amurites have managed to diminish the magical enhancement of the Plague, it remains a major force against their war effort, with one in three men already unfit to fight. Their best bet may be simply to hope their beloved Illian neighbors catch sick as well.
On the other end of the Khadi, the Ljosalfar are also said to have breathed the foul winds. Though their lands are healthier than most, they are prime posed to spread the plague to the East. Once it meets the massive Kuriotate metropolises and spreads through their extensive traderoutes, the plague will quickly spread elsewhere.
The only bright spot of this vengeful return is the Grigori Mediocs's ability to combat it. Prior knowledge remains strong, and the Plague Potion remedy is once again being sought at full speed. No hopes of mass production, as the ingredients remains too rare, but the Ordine Medicos themselves should be protected.
A rumor is floating about, though. There may be a hope to success in overcoming the Plague. Medicos and Mages bow their heads and whisper of the magical Tower that rises steadily in Kalm, one that may well alter the plague from it's current state...

Southern Frontier Base To Be Visited By Prime Minister's Daughter
Prime Minister Esirce's daughter, recently vanished from the capital, has been revealed to have been on a discrete tour of the Grigori Republic, inspecting local governance as part of a regional inspection. Her business over, she has decided to visit the Southern Frontier before returning to the Grigori capital.
While many are glad to hear she is doing well, rumors have surrounded her trip. Some say that she went to the East on a secret mission from her father, and no one can recall anything about any trip South before the last few days.
Map updated. You may want to pay attention to the islands the Infernals have conquered. They are now one step away from reaching the mainland.
MALAKIM SEND HELP
Erlan Haldir, the newly-elected leader of the Malakim, has sent a section of his army to the Fane of Lessers under the command of General Isanov Orzaz. Isanov Orzaz is a highly-respected military officer and has earned several medals, including four purple hearts. The Elohim are awaiting Orzaz's arrival as the Infernal and Sheaim attacks grow stronger every day. Haldir has begun lobbying for the Grigori to also assist the Elohim against the Infernals, having already stepped out of line of the vassal agreement.

Grigori Fleet Sails Into Elohim Port
In a surprise turn of events known only to the Lunan shipbuilders, a Grigori fleet has sailed into the Elohim's largest port. Bought and financed in secret, the Grigori commissioned a respectable navy from the Lunan shipyards, and have hired the crews to man it. Commanded by Captain Panlupan, a sassy and formidable captain who delivered the Grigori's stock of Nightmares, the Grigori fleet stands ready for whatever tasks are assigned to them. And, in accordance with his vassal-ally's requests and movements, those tasks include entering the struggle on the Elohim side.
With Operation Salamander going remarkably well, and the ever-expanding werewolf packs providing more and more of the Grigori manpower needed to keep the Chislev advance on track, the Serpentine Slayers have been underutilized, demoted to mere clearance duty that militiamen could handle appropriately. That has left the Grigori's own champions with little challenge worth their might.
As their contribution for the Fane, the Grigori have sent their new horsemen and horse archers to flank and keep off the enemy forces while the Elohim regroup and the Malakim arrive in mass. More Ordine Medicos have also been dispatched. Rangers deal with the infernal animals that harry the Elohim. But the Serpentine Slayers...
The Serpentine Slayers, and a number of siege weapons, have bordered Grigori transports, ready to push the Infernal advances off the island chains before they become a chain to the continent. Their first target, though, is the the Northern Isle: capturing it would greatly strengthen the supply lines to the Elohim and allies on the Fane of Lessers, and give the Grigori a harbor from which to attack the Infernal navy, arguably their weakest link in their island-advance. As you read this, the first Serpentine Slayers are stepping off their transports now, water-attuned mages granting them the ability to march in formation onto the beaches.
The Grigori entrance into the war has put them in good favor with most of their neighbors and friends. Capria of the Bannor has noted that now the Bannor, the Elohim, the Austrin, and now the Grigori and Malakim form 'an Axis of Righteousness' in the world. Grigori officials are said to be uncomfortable with such language, but are now wondering when the Bannor might be convinced to join in the effort: keeping the infernals off of the continent is in the interest of all living souls alike.
Prime Minister Esirce has moved for the South Western Council to increase its efforts. He proposes a common supply system for the armies at war with the Infernals, the increase of patrols on the continent to warn against Infernal landings, and for the establishments of common-use ports and forts on the coast for use against the Infernals.
Prime Minister Esirce has also begun whispering to his neighbors about possibly inviting the Scions to the southern lands, at the southern coast...

"If you can win the respect of your soldiers, you've proven yourself a worthy general. If you can win the respect of worthy generals, you've proven yourself a worthy leader. And if you can win the respect of worthy leaders, you can become a God in the eyes of the soldiers." - Deremei Diranth
Cassiel's Counterquote
"A man does not get himself killed for a half-pence a day or a petty distinction. You must speak to his soul to electrify him."
