McCain needs some from the mid-west of the north-west imo. That's his weakness especially if he's up against Obama.

I always say to my friends at work if McCain is president look strongly at who is his VP. Because McCain is a freaking walking corpse, about to kick the bucket at any moment, and his VP is of course his successor.

I can definitely see Tom Ridge on the ticket. Gov. Pawlenty supported McCain early, but I don't know whether McCain's strategy for victory hinges on Minnesota.
