Medieval European Mod II 2016-10-05

I always want to ask this, but I keep forgetting. Didn`t anyone fix the sounds for the Firaxis Knight in all these years?

He still sounds like a female playing tennis..

LOL OL OL

I always wondered what that sound really was.

i'm playing one with the moors
they are really good, if you can get great part of iberia for you, there is no one that could conquer it :D
In the game i have conquered Castille, Portugal and France has invaded Aragon, so, i conquered aragon from the french and conquered france too :mischief: hehehe
well, to conquer France i have just allied with the germans, that are already in war agains it, but i don't know why the germans declared war agains me
so i have conquered one city from then and have allied England, Hungary, Veneza, Lithuania and Sweden against then, they have lost all the iron sources :king:
there goes a pic from the atack, so, i have just sieged Regensburg, so, i will try to conquer Aachen to get the Templars to me :goodjob:

In my game (Euro map, large) I, as England, conquered Scotland, Ireland, France, Burgundy, Germany, Denmark, Castille, Aragon, Portugal, Cordova, Italy, Venice, Sicily and parts of Bohemia. I`d say I was doing pretty good eh? Wrong.

The Fatimids are still the largest. I lead in Victory Points but they lead in normal civ-points.

Khazars are pretty big, as are the Novgorods. Serbia, Bulgaria and the Byzantines are an unrully bunch of petty empires, fighting each other instead of recognising the common threat. When I finish up with the Danes (take the lands they conquered in Bohemia and Lithuania), I`ll start building up an invasion of Sweden and then I`ll try to get everyone to attack the Fatimids.

Bastards of the month: Khazars. They sign a peace treaty with Fatimids. I bribe them to declare war again (and it wasn`t cheap either). Next turn, they sign a peace again. ¨Not even 1 turn! I was seriously pissed off. If I didn`t have better things to do, I`d send my 4 armies to pillage the crap out of their lands.

The Fatimids always declare war on me sooner or later, no matter what civ
or what map I've played so far unless I don't know them (as Sweden)
And if it is earlier in the game they usually stomp on the local civs I get
to join an alliance (before they all get me)

Either way they are always one of the top civs and a pain.
Maybe I'll try as them next.

I found a civilopedia error a while back and im not sure if it has been mentioned.

the irrigation one says that i can irrigate without fresh water once i reach electricity, and as this is MEM;) no electricity.

I cant remember off the top of my head which tech allows you to do this, but im pretty sure it isnt electricity:p

Nice, I'm downloading it now

Can't wait

noticed what?

The extremely ******** sound the Civ III knight makes when attacking.:p

The smurf-like sound? Have you also noticed the very strange sound the ancient cavalry makes when winning a combat?

Hey guys, I would love to hail you for what I'm sure is a great mod but I can't seem to download both the main and the patch download (paige not found). Not through the provided links (The scenario downloads work, though). Have the downloads been removed to another site? (I've read through a third of the thread but didn't find anything).

OK, it's working now. Sorry.

Atomic Gamer had some problems today, it hit me too. I think it should work fine now though. :)

And thanks for the praise.

I have to rebuild my c3c senario folder and can't seem to get a valid download. HELP!!!

You have to be more specific. As far as Atomic Gamers goes, I just went there and could download without problems.

Still completely hooked! As I've said before in this thread, playing the whole game in the middle ages makes it sooo much more fun IMHO! Thanks for not just thinking about this but actually doing all the hard work that went into this. Just finished a game as the French (domination victory), the Lithuanians are up next.

Sorry to bother you guys, but there seems to be some sort of mistake. The Civilopedia states the Horsearcher is the knight replacement for the Hungarians, Bulgars, Khazars, Turks, Tartars AND Lithuanians. However I'm playing as the Lithuanians, have researched Calvalry, but can only build regular knights, not horsearchers. Am I doing something wrong or is this a mistake in the Civilopedia?

Yeah, somewhere during the development I removed Horse Archers from Lithuanians because it was historically inaccurate, and forgot to update the unit description. Hope you can cope with it ;)

I'm a completely fascinated MEM player...:goodjob:

IRRadiated
I tried again today, to be more specific, the message from winzip says it is not a valid archive. The file is not a completed zip file. It may be a spanned file. I did enjoy the mod very much. In a word ........HELP!
