Merry Christmas from around the world

I'm not in the mood for celebrating this year,)

Valka's bah-humbugism has inspired my next year's Christmas story.

Spoiler premise :

My Valka & Maddie characters are much grimmer than in real life. Red Deer is too jolly a name for my locale, so I'm moving it across the continent and a thousand years into the past to a Vinland longhouse.
:snowcool:
My main character is a starry-eyed mouse who lives in the walls, who dreams of daring, and who rescues an injured Christmas fairy who's come over from Iceland.

Merry Christmas everybody and a happy new year :D
just rewatching the 2017 Doctor Who special as the BBC has broken with tradition and the new 'festive season' 2018 special will not be out till New years day
its part of my traditional christmas to watch it along with the more boring Queens speech

Holiday Greetings and good wishes to you all from New Mexico. Our luminaries burned all night and this morning a murder of crows is foraging along our street as I type. We had waffles for breakfast and will have dinner out this afternoon.

The people who built the Vinland longhouse came from Greenland, not Iceland.

I'm not "bah-humbug" for Christmas itself. I'm just not feeling up to it this year.

At least I'm a little bit into the season... breakfast (which is currently being consumed) consists of a dish of bananas and I'm drinking eggnog (nonalcoholic variety).

Got a cold- first time in many years, but the weather today was dreadful.
And still have 1200 words to finish the 28000 word translation and then will need 3 days to edit it before sending. Bleh!

Merry christmas from south Florida! :D

*Hands Kyriakos a virtual box of kleenex and a virtual bowl of chicken soup.*

Keep writing. If I can do 8849 words in a single day for stuff that can't be legally published, you can do 1200 words that you'll be paid for. :scan:

I know it was yesterday, but Merry Christmas to all of you, from Costa Rica...It's weird having grown up with Santa Claus, Deers, sleighs and Winter-themed decorations...It never snows in here...

Feliz Navidad!

Frohe Feiertage euch allen, which you can say until St. Stephen's Day so that's okay today. That's a free day in other countries as well, right?

This was the first year I kinda followed my Twitter list and I was astonished and a little bit ashamed. While I want less family, so many people apparently are alone or are with families that don't accept them for who they are (my Twitter feed leans a little bit queer). And that is sad and may be my new year's resolution: to open my eyes more.

And for those of Hawaiian cultural leaning: Mele Kalikimaka

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! (if you celebrate! otherwise I still hope you're just generally happy)

Did you get anything interesting? My best gift was tickets to see Celtic Woman in concert in a few months, along with a lovely hotel reservation in Chicago. I also got a Doctor Who Barbie doll, an electric heated blanket, and some cute little things like a new day calendar for my desk.
