Michele Bachmann is a "Sarah Palin with a brain"?!?

Faith isn't incompatible with religion, though. Even though belief in creationism would seem quite contrary to science, intelligent design is not(and indeed, is compatible with evolution).

Sorry, but this is on the level of saying "Hitler showed his deep and abiding love of the Jews by gassing them all at Auschwitz-Birkenau".

ID is nothing but creationism through the back door. It denies every established fact about life on this planet, and continues to maintain that evolution is impossible. It will never be comptaible with evolution, nor will it ever be a scientific theory.

OK, he somehow managed to salvage the situation but he really must have felt like an idiot.

That's right conservatives. Ignore the fact that you vote for liars/idiots/fanatics. Head in the sand.

Somehow managed to salvage the situation? Did you watch the same video as I did? It was clearly a harmless mistake which anybody could make.

I've never voted for Michele Bachmann in my life.

Nice ad hom btw.

aww movvy dearest, not everything is about YOU, ya dig?:p

Ok.

How many conservatives here at CFC do you think have voted for her? Since you voiced your rant here at CFC in this thread, I assume your talking to said conservatives here correct?

Are you claiming you have only voted for intelligent Republicans who never deliberately lie, and who aren't fanatical about anything? How about Palin in 2008? Or GWB? Or Reagan?

"Rant"...lol. Hyperbole much?

I didn't even mention Michelle Bachmann in my post. "Conservatives" in general is the thrust of my argument. You voted for Dubya both times, right?:p

I'll claim that you and I wont agree on who is intelligent and who isnt, or what lies are deliberate and what arent, and who is fanatical and who isnt.

How about that? :crazyeye:

Protip: read the thread title.....

That is certainly one way to dodge the question which you have so frequently used in the past. :crazyeye:

To keep it somewhat germane to this thread, so you think Palin is intelligent, never deliberately lies, and isn't a fanatic about anything including religion? Or didn't you vote for her in 2008?

The case on McCain isn't quite so clear. He is fairly honorable, so he likely only lied to the wife he dumped after her debilitating accident for the trophy wife, and perhaps a few other similar times.

But it would really be stretching things to call him "intelligent". Barely competent is more like it.

And I really don't know enough about McCain to really address the issue of fanaticism. He certainly got bonus points for standing up to that woman who was claiming that Obama was a Muslim. So like many Republican politicians, he just gives the fanatics a pass so they will continue to vote for him, instead of likely being one himself.

But I still think Palin qualifies. It is a double ticket, and McCain could still quite easily fall over dead before the end of the term. It was certainly a strong possibility back in 2008.
