Mini NoTW V - I'm on a SpaceShip (Game Thread)

Morning 4​

Breakfast was an important meal, starting the day with a heathy option was a recipe for a good day. It seemed all personell had made it on time and well turned out.

Captain Renata had a short briefing to give. It seemed all the evidence pointed to Seon as the old captains killer, therefore the case was closed and justice complete.

The uneasy feelings still persisted, there was more to come people suspected. The lull in the action was unsettling and the pressure was rising.

It's now day. night in ~48h

This can't be it. They wouldn't have given up so quickly.

Well, with Seon gone, there's still no way of knowing whether TheForestAuro is morphing into an alien or not. I say we get rid of the damn prawn.

 

[Sprig]

"I agree, the dodgy Science Officer, TFA must go. Whether he is a mophing alien or just a pawn chucking him out of the airlock is the best solution."​

The cleaner had said his accusation with a stong conviction but he did see, a bit dazed.

"Oh and by the way. Who ever shot me with the stun gun last night, that was not cool. The only reason someone would want to shoot me is to prevent me from finding anymore alien threats. And that makes them a threat to this ship."​

As mentioned, I'm going to miss the next two full days and one night of this game. Rather than try to continue hoarding information, I'm tempted to spill most of what I know to maybe half the players in the game, in the hopes that at least some of them are still fighting on the innocent side and can make more use of it than I'll be able to. Anyone has any comments on that idea can PM me.)

I was intending to put this in my PMs, but apparently sprig was aware, so ...

I stunned sprig last night, to keep him from taking any night actions. A few of you know why.
The previous night I stunned oyzar based on vague suspicion. I don't know if he knew (that it was me; he certainly knew it had happened (OOC: based on question to KM)); he never brought it up when I talked to him.

I still have a couple of "shots" left: another thing I need to decide to day, where that item goes for the night.

"Nonsense! I'm no alien! That monster Seon had put a mind control thing in my brain, but instead, it just made me crazy!"

Putting his hands on his hips.

"Last night I used one of my DNA scanners to search for alien DNA on someone on this ship, and found them innocent. But you'll never know if you lynch me!"

Looking around with one bulging eyes, he squawked, "I've been working with several people on this ship to access the security logs and figure out what happened. That's what I'm doing at night!"

He frowned sadly. "Come on!"

I've heard that both Sprig and TheForestAuro have been converted by aliens. Since Sprig possess the alien i am guessing he is a bad guy.

TFA shouldn't be an alien. There are other aliens on the ship.

What concerns are those? I've worked for years in the burrecracy, I came onto this ship to help managing the colonization.

I've heard that both Sprig and TheForestAuro have been converted by aliens. Since Sprig possess the alien i am guessing he is a bad guy.

Both have, and both have admitted to it. However, both have separately confirmed that they are now normal. I am personally inclined to believe them.

"Oyzar, you know the reasons, yet you doubt them?" "You seem to have a hidden agenda if you still accuse me!"

Ofc they would both say they are innocent. However as sprig says himself, the only way to be sure is if one of them is proven so. I belive that it is better to check the person who possess the alien than the guy who don't.

If that is the case, why then is Sprig still accusing TheForestAuro. Evidently not all of them went back to normal. I don't know whether they are telling the truth or not, but I'm wary of both of them just going back to normal.

The Head of Colonists seems slightly confused with everything that's going on.
"What's this about liars? Everyone- tell the truth! There should be no secrecy and no killing! TFA, Sprig, is there anything additional you have to say?"

Having balked at the healthy breakfast and returned to bed for a well-deserved lay in, the Security Officer finally gets up in the early afternoon, moving straight to the food dispenser to buy himself a chocolate-coated pastry and a heavily-sugared black coffee.

Spacewolves. Just like I said. Get everywhere they do. There's more of 'em about, that's for sure. But we flushed the daddy, I reckon.

Them bureaucrats are still making trouble, though. Damned paper-shufflers. Got a million-and-one questions to ask, but nary an answer to give. That oyzar is the worst of 'em. He's up to something shady, that's for sure.

Midday 4​

Sorry, unexpected long day at work for me, driven about loads of miles and every damn motorway has been closed or has roadworks.

No clear suspect with in the space camp, maybe the situation will become clearer later on in the day.
