I live in a specific community in the GTA with tons of different cultures. though that is not everywhere in TO that the white population is so low. that figure for Vancouver kind of surprises me, though i hate the term 'non-white'. idk what else to use, but it makes it seem like its wrong to not be white.

well.. if you wanna' look at it that way... its more because I'm a 'minor' and child labor laws from the state basically limit me to like 2 small businesses in the town, or farms. All the local businesses are going out of business because of Wal-Mart, and the farms are overrun by illegals

In NYC my home town, we have 45% whites, 27% blacks, and 27% latinos. It's a love/hate thing. I hate people who are arrogant about race, don't get me started on those guidos (if you don't know who/what guidos are, search "my new hair cut" on youtube).

In Pennsylvania where I goto school, I see a minority (non-white) about once a week, but the people who own most of the fast food places are Indian. At times it gets annoying seeing a sea of the same faces, where everyone looks and acts like everyone else but for the most part, people are actually much nicer to each other than in the city. I think when you are engulfed in your own culture and are free from racial tension, you are more relax and more polite.

I'm going to school right now so I voted based on where I live right now.

The apartment building I live in is, by my non scientific observation, half populated by immigrants. I rarely notice it.

Sort of... There's a large Catholic minority here (of which I am part), but the vast majority are Irish Catholics who've been here for a good four or five generations and, aside from their religion, are fully integrated, and so are really only a minority in the technical sense. There's also a scattering of Italians and Poles who came over during or before the war, and a few more recent Polish immigrants.
There's a fair few Muslims as well, mostly Pakistani, but not a large population by most standards, and the Chinese immigrant population is also fairly below average. A handful of other ethnicities- Indian Sikhs, Africans, etc.- but not significant numbers of them. My area is a typically Northern UK post-industrial one, so immigrants don't come here in as great numbers.

what racial tension? the only racial tension that ever happened was between the one persian IDIOT at my old school who dressed up in a Hamas uniform for halloween and EVERYBODY ELSE, including the other persians. my school was about 60% visible minority, and there was NO racial tension whatsoever.

Very central London was as multicultural as anywhere on earth. Family flat has a half dozen languages spoken in the stairwell, and Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Nepalese, Portugese, Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, Lebanese and even English food (all run by those nationalities) within a two min walk. Sadly the Turks only have a cornershop. It was great.

Brighton is freakishly white. It took me five years to find a decent curry delivery place.

At the mo I'm in Surry oscilating between London and Brighton. It's even more white. Few Poles, Zimbarbweans next door. One of the few local black kids runs around thinking he is clearly the ubergangsta, unaware how he is living the Ali G dream. Very sad to see how when you give your best cockney "Oi, dats ENOUGH! Be'ave, nah" he just about soils himself. Back in Somers Town we had a better class of wanna-be gangster.

My town is now like 10% non white. We are completly over run by immigrants. Soon Stockholm will look like Mogadishu. The crime rate is saoring. Time ti time I even see inter racial couples.

There are areas where it is over 50%. It can hardly be considered Europe any more. Utopia is 100% white. Due to race mixing and oncontrolled immigration we will be a minority in 40 years.
