mNotW VI - Trust a few, fear the rest - Game thread

As it doesn't really relate to the game, but in case you're curious.

In my defense, I was recruited into that cult against my will, and the recruiter didn't tell me who else was on my team right away...

then, about a turn into my cult-ness, I was told, but then I died immediately. And then, I was given a choice to be town or cult, since I was an unwilling participant. I chose town, and subsequently deleted all communication I had with the cult leader.

I just plain forgot who the other guy was. Then, because I had nothing better to do with my time, at least 100 rounds later (game is dragging...) I was just accusing people randomly, for fun, based on nothing. I accused my former partner, who I hadn't even spoken to in the game and his name was mentioned to me only once. The entire town knew I was former cult as well, so why the heck did they listen to me? Ah well. Busted my own teammate.

Everyone makes mistakes?

I send a rather strong apology to the guy, and promised not to say another darn thing in the thread. I feel like el stupido.

Choxorn is going to die tonight. Voting for him won't change a thing, no last minute reprieve like with TForge13, eh Senator? At least you should be happy that someone gets to die tonight without any arm wringing. TForge13 hasn't been around for over a week, but I haven't heard from Krill and I know he's out there, watching... waiting.

The day has ended

Once Col. William "Bill" Stryker woke up it didn’t take long for him to be accused. There wasn’t much Bill Striker could do, he had been pretty much caught red-handed. He still didn’t feel right from the day before but he summoned enough strength to address his accusers. “I have done nothing wrong, so I attacked a few mutants, so what? I do not regret trying to save you all from them. They mean to destroy you all. If you don’t realize the truth now you will regret it.”

Professor Xavier didn’t look impressed; he placed his hand to his temple and focused on Bill to read his thoughts. Bill panicked, he could feel Xavier in his mind. “Get out of my head” he yelled “Your trying to make me do things, I won’t let you”. Before anyone could react Bill had taken a sidearm off one of the Senators aides and placed to his own head, “Long live the Humans.” The gun shot echoed around the auditorium. Everyone looked at the Professor. He shook his head and declared.

Night 3​

Graydon Creed was determined to get into that woman’s room, his success last night made him a little reckless. He should have known better. Wolverine couldn’t believe what he was seeing, He thought back a couple of nights to when he punched this guy in the head. ‘Obviously wasn’t hard enough’ he thought. He watched Greydon getting closer to the woman’s room. ‘Perhaps I should do something a bit more permanent to him’ Wolverine unsheathed his claws. The noise stopped Greydon in his tracks but Greydon wasn’t as reckless as he appeared. He spun around and pointed a pistol straight at the source of the disturbing sound and fired three rounds. A round hit Wolverine in the shoulder and he went down to the ground. Greydon laughed and made his way over to the fallen wolverine “Time to die mutant”. Wolverine replied swiftly rolling to the side and sweeping his leg around which caught Greydon on the back of the leg and swept him of his feet. Greydon held tight to his pistol and fired in Wolverine’s direction. Wolverine ran round the corner to avoid the bullets and Greydon decided it was time to get out of there.

SabreTooth was in pain, something was going on with his head. He had to do his mission, he must kill... He grapped his head with both hands and screamed. He wasn’t going to give in to whoever was in his head. He summoned his strength and staggered out of his room.

He didn’t notice the tripwire stretched across the hall and he staggered through it. Two blasts erupted from either side, engulfing Sabertooth in flames. He writhed in agony, blood pouring from numerous wounds. He legs were not working but he still was determined, he dug his claws into the wooden floors and pulled himself forward. He made an impressive 8 metres before Donovan Zane stepped out in front of him. Zane said nothing as he pushed his rifle up against Sabertooth’s head and pulled the trigger.

When Sabertooth’s body was discovered there was no sign of Zane. The senator stepped forward and inspected the body, he invited the Professor to come forward but Winston Hughes shook his head, he already knew and declared:

Andy Kubert was minding his own business as he had done during this whole affair. He was pretty clueless as to what was going on but he really wanted to find out and at the very least find out more about himself. The Juggernaut didn’t care about Andy, he just cared about causing mischief. Andy did his best Jason impersonation as the Juggernaut crashed into his room. “Can I help you?” Andy inquired. Thus just caused the juggernaut to go into a fit of rage. He punched Andy and knocked him clean out. Realizing his job was done he left promptly through his trademarked self-made exit.

Funny, the real bad guys don't seem to like me very much, and I'm the one that get's targetted.

I say we focus our attention on getting the Juggernaut instead.

I said yesterday that Juggernaught must die, and I'll say it again. Really, atpg, beating up on Andy Kubert?

 

[Nictel]

I doubt TheLastOne would support choxorn with that bandwagon against him if they were working together. He'll probably would have tried to get as far away as possible.
As for atpg, I dunno which side he is on, but with his role-blocking he is possibly stopping killings and that's a good thing. So I feel he can stay a lil' while longer.

Now CCRunner on the other hand, I do not trust. Be just like you trying to kill me night 1. And Renata had some things that could hint at you working with Choxorn. You know, I got a good hunch about this.

I would just like to add that I find Nictel's suggestions as to CCRunner's guilt very reasonable and would consider it a fair outcome of today if either TheLastOne or CCRunner was lynched today. For now, my vote will remain on TheLastOne36, but if it looks like CCRunner is a better case, I might change it later.

As I sit in the library reading "Nicola Tesla and you", I began to wonder who's the Juggernaut. I then put aside the book and began to ponder

It's gotta be someone who has brute strength natural but who? C'mon think, Think!

So I decided to head to the town square and ask a couple of people. Many have suggested TheLastOne, others have pulled up CCRunner's name. I went back into the library to look at previous newspapers to narrow down my search (OOC: The previous Reports reported by sprig).

It must be CCRunner

Civgeneral, atpg's the juggernaught, he admitted it himself.

Folks, choxorn identified atpg as the jugggernaut with no reason lie about that, and atpg basically admitted he was the juggernaut, see his posts yesterday. Why are we looking around for someone else to be juggernaut?

Autolycus approached me and stated that atpg is the Juggernaught, I began to wonder if he had any kind of evidence on hand to prove that choxorn. But before I opened my mouth he said "Come to the town square, I'll not only tell you but also to the entire town"

Minutes later he makes his statement (OOC: See post #176) Once after he was done I ask him...

...How can we have the support of the community behind us to blame atpg?

I'm a little confused. Are you doubting that atpg is juggernaut, or doubting that we should blame him?

I don't want to be caught up in a bandwagon while the REAL Juggernaut runs away in his red armor, Autolycus.

If atpg is truly the Juggernaught, then I'll place my blame on atpg.
