I find the leaderheads generally suit the mod well. Animation would be a rather low priority in my opinion. Each to his own, I guess.
Methos said:Question: Just downloaded 1.0 and noticed the setup file states 1.00c. Does that mean I don't have to install the patch? Also, since the patch is up to 'c' do I still have to follow the instructions in post #4945?
when is that?Kael said:If you have 1.00c you have everything you need. You won't need to do anything new until patch D comes out.

JustAnotherUser said:Kael, will be the civilizations in phase 2 differents as the standard civs in civ 4 are (i.e different leader traits, different starting technologies, unique units, etc) or there will be something more? I'm playing a game with the halflings and I find weird that their units and cities are identical (and I don't mean graphically) to those of the human (to not mention merfolks and undeads).

To solve the problem I have substituted this line for
byCode:Open "Assets/xml/..."
Code:Open ThisWorkbook.Path & "/Assets/xml/..."
I use Windows XP SP2 and Office XP SP3
Kael said:Could you go through the songs in 'Mods\Fall from Heaven 110d\Assets\sounds\soundtrack\octo\' and tell me which one you don't like?
All of the songs in the soundtrack are free downloads by their authors off of the internet. I dont include any "commercial" songs in the mod. I do include small samples of commerical songs. I wont steal artists music but i will steal parts of pictures and small samples of music. Its my own personal line in the sand.
I hesitate to mention this here because I don't want this thread to drift off to an ethics or legal discussion (im well aware that my line falls outside of "fair use" and the legal issues). If you would like to chat about it, feel free to start a thread in creation and customization and Ill be glad to join.
To darkonion: that first paragraph was to you, the rest was just me blattering on.![]()

PriestOfDiscord said:The artwork for some of the Phase 2 leaders is beautiful, and from the civ descriptions you can definitely tell that there will be substantial differences between the civs. Balseraphs looks like it could be highly entertaining. I'm guessing the unplayable civs (Warrior angels, demons from Hell, and a resurrected god) are that way because the troops and/or buildings and wonders they get will be stronger than everyone else's?
And I just wanted to tell you I will have a big list of Pedia and tooltip fixes for you hopefully by the end of the week so you can put it in the next patch or the one after.
Kael said:How awesome is it to get an issue and a resolution reported at the same time! Thanks Zeysoft, I'll get that updated in the next version.
Out of curiosity which file were you writing (or was it on all of them)?
