I suspect on some level, exaggerated, the preference for the skull is probably a feature of whether or not you view it as the badge you wear for yourself (awesome a skull! ) or the badge you feel others gave you to tell you how they feel (I'm as good as dead to them )

Content Staff badge lettering had inconsistent spacing compared to the rest of the badges so I went ahead and fixed it.

Ah. I'm not for or against the establishment (I just like doing the icon graphics) but I did notice that some of the post counts in this thread were so high as to create gravity wells so large they'd scramble my sarcasm detector. To answer your query, the tools to improve on the red badge of courage you get are at your fingertips, so to speak.

Maybe the icon needs an upgrade too, I could do that. : )

Probably not worth doing then. I think there'd have to be concrete assurances for the cost/benefit of changing the graphic to be worthwhile. : P

Would upgrading all the badges from 1997 mode be something the forums would consider?

I guess I'm asking anyone's opinion but the only definitive answer would come from the admins. The ones I did so far look pretty nice but maybe something like the Z^zz^z Sentry button for the Retired one if the skull is ​inappropriate there.
