Moderator Clean Up

im partial to browner than tanner. kept 'retired' the same but made 'mod' darker.

i use the basic red for the forums so none of the previous examples have clashed for me but the lighter neon green leaves the white lettering difficult to see, even though we all know what it says now.

Awesome :)

Can the label be some shade of grey instead? Green implies "go on! PM me!", whereas grey seems more fitting of retirees ;)

I was thinking the same thing. A gray/red or black/red colour scheme is universally recognized as 'no'.

The badges aren't mandatory, y'know... we had a choice, and obviously some of us opted in and others didn't. We had no idea what colors the badge would be.

we're considering creating even uglier badges for those that didn't opt in ;)

I'm getting used to it. I still find it a bit hard on the eyes, though (the light green part).

Definitely agree here, just 2 parts shade darker will look better. (see eye chart below :p

1st screenie your green, 2nd screenie suggested green, and 3rd screenie, both in comparison top left to middle, to right as proposed

Light text on dark colours, dark text on light colours. I think I learned that one right after red + blue = purple.
