The King of Iceland is more foolish than we thought. Public records show that both Sweden and Finland have Icelandic assets there. Regardless of investments, these assets are still worth a good deal.
And I would like to point out that we threatened one oppressive regime, and have so far befriended every other minor power in the hemisphere to some extent. And if you knew anything about our country, you would know that we are a Syndicalist Confederation founded upon principles of direct democracy, and the Head of State and Government does not have direct power over any if the 20 Syndicates in our country. Even if we were as totalitarian as you would make us out to be, Iceland is rules by a despot of a king who has publicly stated he cares not for freedom. The government of a unified Scandinavia under Leif II would be an oppressive regime. He has already shown that spilling blood because of a cultural disagreement is entirely justified. Accepting his rule is a death sentence for any Scavdinavian who wants to live free.

War's a combination of:
-Quality (investments in army tech)
-Quantity (number of troops)
-Defensive bonuses
-War plans (both the offense and defense can create them)
War plans are hardly negligible and are most useful in a player versus player war.

Bosnia announces its intent to help secure peace and trade in the Mediterranean.
To begin with, Bosnia shall be signing the Treaty of Constantinople with Greece, Azerbaijan and Arstotzka to secure the neutrality of the Bosphorus and that rivalries within Greece’s halls of government remain peaceful.
Bosnia shall also be unilaterally guaranteeing the independence of Italy, Switzerland, Occitania, Aragon, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Poland, and Hungary.
Bosnia’s final achievement shall be large-scale economic investment abroad, with nations such as Poland, Italy, Egypt and Lusitania being primary goals.

It isn't threatening considering they had the option to say no the entire time and I would have been okay with it. You see, there are rulers such as yourself which would see this revolution quelled under the heel of a spiked boot. We offer our military as a sign of protection.
Assets are assets, nationalized or no. Iceland still benefits from it, and we welcome the opportunity to take control of these assets in place of the oppressors.

Captain McTavish watched the screens in front of him as a battle raged in the seas far above. The navies of the great african powers duked it out for the freedom of Ashanti, whilst the Argentinian vessel lurked in the seas below, observing the chaotic conflict. But McTavish could see a clear order to the chaos, a pattern of victory emerging for the defending fleets.
"Comrade Two this is Brother Wolf Two Six. The Tayloristani Alliance is mopping up the Verdeans pretty nicely now, not much chance of a comeback here."
"Copy that Brother Wolf, good work out there. Keep observing the situation and inform us as the situation changes."
"Will do Comrade Two. Brother Wolf Two Six Out."
McTavish sat back, muttering quietly to himself. "Good work. This isn't work, we're just sitting around drinking coffee and staring at computer screens"
"Thats what Command does for work Captain, they probably consider it an amazing acheivement" Ensign McShoutout chipped in from his station, to a murmer of chuckles from around the bridge.
"Fair point though that may be Ensign, don't say it to loudly where I can hear you. Some of us are sitting in a command chair as it is..." A decent joke was all well and good, but McTavish was the captain, he had to do something to maintain discipline on his ship. He liked to think he didn't have too harsh a hand, but his subordinates would probably disagree. Subordinates were like that sometimes.

"I see that soldier. At long last, Samuel Maximus' killer is dead." Replied the general, leader of the army and interim leader of the nation. The hunt had been going on for 3 weeks now, ever since Maximus had been murdered in his home.
A messenger came running down the hallway.
"Sir! Sir! Sir! You have an urgent message. Your announcement has been made, and Senator Thomas Jefferson has now been announced as becoming President Jefferson. He has announced in turn he is moving the capital to Boston. Also, General Patton reports a skirmish on the southern border. Apparently a spy was caught at the border and being so close to his friends, they tried to rescue him and got bloodied buy Patton and his boys." He paused. "Captain Arya has reported that there has been another killing at the hands of a Whoist priest, this time Senator Cerper. And Colonel Armitage has reported a riot at the docks has been contained with minimal damage."
"What of the prophet?" The general asked, his eyes with a hard glint.
"He is with the president. They plan on announcing Ravusianity as the new State Religion any moment now."
"Taqat is dangerous, but he is godly and pious. He truly is the prophet of Ravus, I don't doubt it." The General slammed his fist against his thigh. "New America will be strong once more, with or without this religion!"
"AYE!" Growled Barnes.
