I got loaded up and running. I played a bit from the 4000BC save that I had.

I have to warn y'all that the Random Number Gods really hate me. I cannot take a single Indian city with Swords and Archers and the Zulu just declared on me, I obviously played differently than here so I had two cities close on their borders at that choke point around Irony. Just warning you that I am challenged when it comes to war turns. i tend to win my wars by vast numbers of troops rather than finesse.

I am now going to download the last save and the 2nd to last save. and get familiar with our game.

I am a bit nervous but the best way to get wet is to just dive in and be done with it.

It is a training game, we do aswell as we can and learn how to MM and what to do in certain situations, under lead of CBob.

Something occurred to me while I was reading in General.

I just posted in Rodent's game that I have really, really, really, really, really, bad luck with the RNG's. My kill ratio is always horrendous and I am getting a little sick and tired of losing elite Cavs to spear.

...just warning y'all if you want to re-think my participation. I would not be offended if you changed your minds on the invite.

Don't worry. My first offensive last turn resulted in my losing 4 veteran archers, and depleting my elite archer to either 1 or 2 HP. This was against an non-walled, non-mountainous city with two regular spearmen guarding it.

I'd say we've paid our karma debt.

Besides, we're willing to take the chance.

Ok. Just reviewed CBob's last set, and I have a good idea where we are.

Need to found the PinkDot city (I will think of a clever name, you wait ) on the next turn. I plan to build a library there; though a temple is slightly faster. I will look at this more closely as to expected spt and such before I make a move.

Also will be founding 3SEofTsingtao in 2 turns.

NOTE: Not sure what to have this city build. I can see doing barracks, then vSwords, but that adds per turn expense. Culture in that spot seems rather silly.

Two settlers to be produced in next turn. One will go to the southeast of Tatung for cow city, and one to the far west as buffer to Delhi. Next settlers will push back the fog around Old India.

I plan to research Polytheism once we finish Construction, for the reasons CBob mentioned. Good exercise, that was.

I need to make at least a couple more vSwords (a couple are on the way in 2 and 6 turns) and get them into K'uang-yin's army.


Lastly, I need to keep an eye on the barbs and Zulu warrior outside Anyang.

I don't expect to meet the Zulu this turnset. Seems like we have some building and reorganizing to do before we hop in with them.
