I've sent the file onwards.
I checked on pbemtracker and couldn't see any way to join the game.

If you choose the middle link on the main page
Home / Track Games / Join a Game / Create a Game / Help

Choose Join a Game, and enter Randompires into the box, and press Find Game button

It should now show you a list of all the other players, and you need to scroll right down to the bottom of the screen and click the Join Game button.

At some point it might prompt you for a password - (if Michkov set one ) - but I can't remember and need to check that.

You could try the other steps though...and let us know how you get on.

something is up with the PBEMTracker...i have just received a turn...i played it and then went to PBEMTracker site to upload it...it still shows the player's turn before me is up...

Try sending an email to the support address at pbemtracker.

They are usually pretty good at sorting it out.

I propose that we assume that Jon won't be coming back so we nominate a permanent replacement.

I've tried to contact him (because of another PBEM) and I got no reply whatsover. It has been a while since the terrible thing happened and I guess he must have his mind on more important things than playing games.

As for the PBEMtracker, can we fix it and update the status or...?

This is a bit odd, as other games seem to be moving on ok with pbemtracker.

Can others upload ok, or just Luthor with a problem ?

This does not look correct.

Originally Jon the Gun joined pbemtracker, yes ?
So there is a logon bearing his email address stored in Randompires.
Anything loaded to that logon will be sent to jon's email address - which is currently being ignored.

If Skellora is joining the game, he should register at pbemtracker and join the game Randompires. His logon will have his email address attached.

Once Skellora joins, then Jon can be removed from the play order, and Skellora added.

pbemtracker seems to have no capability for the game creator to physically remove a player from the game - but this does not seem to matter too much.


At the moment we still seem to have the original number of player names in Randompires, which suggests that any saves uploaded to Jon the Gun will still be being emailed to Jon the Gun - and this does not help.

I think Michkov or Skellora, or possibly both, needs to send an email to admin@pbemtracker.com and request that name Skellora be added to game Randompires.
Then the turn order can be edited.

Latest save I've got it 2360BC. The tracker seems to be stuck at 3080BC for ages.

Thanks. Looks like the game is at Sir gigi or beyond, still the 2360 turns are in there but the main page still shows 3030

It's Aeonian turn. The PBEMTracker has been manually changed and it is waiting for Aeonian to upload the turn!

No more name changes for me in this game!!!
