(name here) PBEM

Just to say that I will try to keep up this game. I think that November will be easier for me.

However if I do take too much time for you guys just let me know.

So as Bathsheba is nowhere to be found, I'll start looking for a replacement. I'll take the pending turn if no one takes up the spot until tomorrow to keep things ticking over.

I'm going to leave the call for a replacement up until the game comes around to you the next time. Not much interest in the spot though.

I had a problem starting civ when I was going to play my turn. I couldn't start civ at first because it said I had no connection with steam, I usually play in offline mode. So I went online and had to update civ, and now I can't start it. I don't really have time to search for a solution right now, but I'll make another try tonight.

You have the wrong version the game, somewhere on steam there should a way to switch. The one you want is labelled as beta IIRC. There should be a more thorough explanation on this forum somewhere.

In other news, Sinimusta has expressed interest in taking over for Bathsheba. Do you want him to take over Barhsheba?

OK Sinimusta takes over from Bathsheba. Tracker should be updated as we speak and I'll change the first post

In the interest of keeping this game moving I took Mayics turn. I've skip turned the units and build the first suggested thing.

I think it's always best to look for a human replacement. If one can not be found (it's getting harder and harder) we can retire him.

Yes, but please be aware that China is by far the strongest CIV in this game. China has just been through the longest Golden Age period that I've ever seen in a game. The current military power of China is unchallenged.

I'd prefer to see China is the hands of some peaceful player rather than a warmonger, otherwise this game will not last long and all the fun (if you can call that fun) will be exclusively to China.

Michkov, you are the game's administrator, why don't you take over China's destiny? You could keep things rolling and act like the major power that could establish the balance in the game (almost like the US are doing in the real world). In any case, in my opinion, China will win this game, and it has the choice to win it easily in a peaceful way. That's my opinion.

...CIV IV is a so nice game that it is almost incomprehensible how we are finding difficult to find replacements around this vast world.... :(
