Yes, but please be aware that China is by far the strongest CIV in this game. China has just been through the longest Golden Age period that I've ever seen in a game. The current military power of China is unchallenged.

I'd prefer to see China is the hands of some peaceful player rather than a warmonger, otherwise this game will not last long and all the fun (if you can call that fun) will be exclusively to China.

Michkov, you are the game's administrator, why don't you take over China's destiny? You could keep things rolling and act like the major power that could establish the balance in the game (almost like the US are doing in the real world). In any case, in my opinion, China will win this game, and it has the choice to win it easily in a peaceful way. That's my opinion.

People get interested for different reasons. I joined the game to try defensive war against technologically and numerically superior foe, you can turn Arabia back to Bathseba or AI if China is to become completely peaceful.

It is also easier to find players for strong Civ's than for weak ones so I hope it will be easier than average.

I think that we should look for a replacement (preferably a warmonger to see if Rodrigo is right or not) and not having Michov replacing one Civ for another.

If Rome thinks that China is so strong it should proposed a united front against him and make one brave (and futile?) attempt to stop the Giant. If he wins the game he wins. GAmes have to end at some point.

...CIV IV is a so nice game that it is almost incomprehensible how we are finding difficult to find replacements around this vast world....

Civ V... Civ VI... other games... people just move on after a period... I did enjoy Civ III PBEM's but now I have stopped playing entirely.

Do you know that there are Civ II PBEM's going on?

Ok. I retract what I've just said... That was only my opinion...I'm not really a warmonger, so I expressed my view... And I like to play peacefully... When I got Rome from Rd13, Romans were at war with Sir Gigi, but as Rome was so much powerful, I made peace with Sir Gigi and I have never again disturbed him. Playing a balanced war is challenging and fun, bullying is not.

I also forgot that Sinimusta is now playing with Arabia and he is, most probably, the best warmonger currently playing CIV IV... (I've been beaten hard in other games... only capitulation saved me...).

Changing subject, I remember to read that CIV V do not have the pbem option. And has CIV VI been already released?? Civ II... long time ago (sweet nostalgia)... also good times back then...

I play the Byzantines in the game so I think it would be a bit unfair if I take over a second civ, especially such a powerful one.

Greetings fellow Kings and Queens, I am entering the Palace but cannot sit on the Throne until tomorrow evening (I won't have my laptop until then) but will here my people promptly thereafter.

All in witness falls silent as Mao waves his hand at three of the Advisors the previous Emperor kept close by. He asks them each for a situation report and all three report something different, all important nevertheless but I could tell he was measuring them to see if he needed all three of them. Then he instructed them to tell each other everything they knew and to decide between themselves in private who would be the leader of these three agents of the Empire and excused them.

I have not officially offered a Cease fire or any option above that. As of right now I do not know which of you control what country or the webs you've woven. So I will hear each King's or Queen's argument of Peace or what country in their opinion should be dealt with. As of now "I" will no attack any human players for 3 turns, the 1st is this turn. I will update everyone here each turn and see if any controversy occurs

Our host Michkov cannot update the pbemtracker only that site's administrator can do that and he has disassociated himself from that site. all attempts at reaching him have fallen on deaf ears so "WE" accept that edits and updates will never happen and we must adapt to this.

If tracker is dying, I recommend use ruff hi's pbem emailer software.

After you have set up a new game, a couple of clicks and the email is sent complete with attachment. Can incllude game admin in the cc list, so progress is not lost.

In Egypt this turn Chinese forces did not retreat but rather they killed Barbarians in that Region.

In Arabia, China suggests Arabia offers Peace before demands and China continues withdrawing its forces from Arabia.

In China, Now most cities are building either Pavilions, religious buildings or Harbors, Standing melee and Gunpowder units are set to "Alert" but Horseback units begin Rallying towards central China so they may be deployed like a Thunderstorm with Lightening speed to flood regions that insist on spilling Blood.

It is not known to me if Emperor Mao was a Warmonger or an over zealous defender but what Emperor Mao II knows is Peace in this world can exist.

This year Allah is with us as we have managed to pursue retreating Chinese troops and destroyed their valuable cannon batteries with our camel arechers. Allahu Ackbar!
