NDNESIV: A New World, A New History

From Qwatuum
To Takila Monks

We would be glad to have you accept Jeqs(Money) for the use of various ports. Is such a thing possible?

OCC: Not to nitpick or anything but the proper way to use the plural form Takila would be Takilan not Tequilan.

An increase in trade would benefit us all, and would prove to re-affirm our age-old peace. What say you?

Despite our differences, we would like to offer you trade; the rare, delicious Ololul (mountain fish) we have to offer would greatly benefit your rather large population; likewise, trade would foster peace between our two nations.

(OOC: i wasn't sure of the exact diplomatic relations between my countries and these. so heck, trade and peace for all!)

OOC: It's safe to assume that you trade with all your neighbors, I only wanted to confirm my access to Takila because they seemed isolationist.

I might have to withdraw.. don't think I have the time for all the diplo i'd need to do..

yeah, but.. Durgate hates me.. :(

Can we get an update in the stats linking players with their nations..

Are we missing a lot of people making their claims?

Look at the player list on the front page :p

And yeah, I'd really want Littleboots to make a claim on something. Chatraha too. Besides the people who made cultures earlier in this NES, I'm hoping to get new players so this won't be so NPC-heavy, although I think that is pretty much unavoidable.

Also, the Neolitian culture has been re-named Khefereti by Shadowbound. He gave good reasons as to why he wanted his name changed, so I let it pass. I will not let you change your culture name for no reason.

I swear, every time I hear that name I think of this...

And it's awesome!

Those Na-Trothdhilim punks are weak.

Country Name: Na-Dhrudhilim
Government: Tribal Confederation
Culture: Sadhilim [Moderate]
Manpower: 7,000
Army: 400 chariots 300 Levies
Navy: None
Income: 2,500 (860 upkeep)
Description: The only Sadhilim group in possession of a city, Na-Dhrudhilim is a feared name in the surrounding lands. Its warriors are vicious and fast, striking without a moments notice, pillaging and killing whatever they please. And while the other tribes are independent of it, many of the Sadhili tribes will tag along with Na-Dhrudhilim in a raid or war. In fact, many foreigners make the mistake that Na-Dhrudhilim controls all of the Sadhilim. This may not be too far from the truth as more and more tribes look to it for leadership…

This is going to be an EPIC first update

Alright, I am now all set to answer any NPC diplomacy.

Like Shadowbound said, trade is generally automatic. Thus I think I'll just kind of pretend you didn't send these messages.

Our people have lived in relative peace for ages, and we remain friendly despite tensions that have arisen in our shared history. As we learn more of the world to the south through passing traders, we grow concerned that our ways of life are in grave danger of being overwhelmed. It would be in our best interests to establish a strong and lasting peace, to stand in unity against all threats from both military and cultural invaders.
