NES game Concepts for newbies

Only if your stereotyping it:p . Seriosuly though, if you want to talk about it there's a lot people don't know/understand, it's a very misunderstood sport.

It's not exacly a stereotype image, but an observation. From the 5 nearby High Schools, all of them have an all girl colorguard team.

Wait, colorguard is open for guys too? I better get moving and sign up next year then :D

My first post in the NES forum was three days after Jason. (May 2002.)

However, that post predates the existence of the NES forum by over a week! So I have reason to believe that there were even earlier posts that did not survive the Great Migration. Oh, for the days of nostalgia.
(I think we should celebrate the NES forum's birthday.)

silver: There's a handy search function at the top of the forum. :p I dug up this in half a minute or so.

EDIT: PS. I now have an avatar reflecting my status. For some reason I couldn't write "forum" in my title. Anyway, I can make avatars for the rest of you, displaying any number you want. Transparent or white backgrounds, your choice. Let's have a separate avatar class for NESers. :D

@Alex: Generally speaking most people in color guard is girls, but to say they're all girls is stereotyping. There are all male winter guard's, one is from Oregon called Northern Lights. Ironically enough, many of the best color guard instructors are guys, as are the best performers.

Isnt that the one where you twirl the flags?
We don't twirl them, we spin them! But we do a lot more than that.

Go enlighten yourself on Winter Guard and Color Guard. http://www.wgi.org

Several people wanted avatars, so here they are! :D
Remember, this is just for fun and boasting rights, don't take it seriously.

(Does anyone want to come up with a good dating system for NESers?)

Second post since only 5 attachments are allowed per post...
(You can ask me for any modification to these, the GIMP makes it super easy to edit the text or modify the background color.)

Uh? The deadline was extended to monday a while back. So far I have less than 1/3rd of orders!

Pardon? Didn't you say January 1st? Oh well, fact remains.

@Erik: that is because you joined in the second ever NES (some consider it to be the first "true" NES, but UKnemesis made Neverending Story... before it). UK's Neverending Story... was started in the Stories and Tales forum, then moved to the NES forum that thunderfall created for us.

Jason - you don't say. I'm not a complete idiot. (Some parts are missing. :p) When I link to Thunderfall's post saying "Welcome to the NES forum!", I'd have to have all my parts intact to not realize that.

Now, will you take an avatar? I can copy the "p f N" from your current one and stick it in the upper left corner of a 0th-gen one if you like. :D

Do not fall for his ploy! The avatars are his secret plan to dominate the entire NES forum! Uh oh. *takes cover*

Interesting times/Boring times. When an NES hits a lull in the action, the moderator skips a few centuries until interesting things start happening again. You don't directly control your nation through a BT.

That's not a "p f n"! Thats Hebrew cursive spelling out the Hebrew word for king, melech. That's why Erez made it for him.

nah! its a "p f n" anyone can see that.

NESing interests me.I would like to join in one but I have no knowledge of what to do.I really want to try it out though.

It's very fun indeed. Join LINESII, and I'll show you everything you need to know about NESing.
