NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

We thank that is appropriate. Byzantines will pay one economic point in reparations and be allowed to keep the lands.

No, you really don't have much of a choice, do you?...However, we shall be magnanimous in victory and allow you one economy point to help you rebuild your economy after this loss in war.

Yes, it will be incorporated under your control. We really do not have much of a choice on this matter. Would you be so kind as to pay at least one meager economy point for these lands?

Stand up for yourself a bit more man - you don't want to go the way of Kentharu's Ottomans ;)

Well, no sense fighting von Dunkelheit and Byzantium...especially over such silly stuff as a little bit of land they can't control anyway.

Emperor Demeke Brehane stood out on the balcony looking down upon the crowd. Wearing his full Abyssanian officer uniform he looked out. With the holy cross shining above him he called for a hush tone and called for a silence of prayer. He pronounced the prayer in his mind and listened as the priest said the days surmon aloud.

Millions of people flocked here every week as to hear the surmon from such holy a place every Sunday.

Everyone was in silence and awe. No one could deny what they felt in the sight of this holy place. People had been known to pilgramge here and sometimes sleep in holes in the mountain as to be as close as they could to the holy place carved out of the mountains.

As the priest drew the surmon to a close with a closing prayer he looked at the emperor who promptly stood up. He walked to the edge. The crowd was silent.

"We all know the past events. We all know them. Many of you have said that I turned my back on God and Jesus for turning away from the war. But I did not. I believed in the purpose that we must unite Africa.

Now, more than ever, Africa is under a threat. As Sennar moves to expand her borders and bring Africa under the Islamic faith and turn their eyes away from the true faith.

We must get to there first. We must make it there first. Africa still remains a wild boar ready to be tamed. We are the the shepherds. We must show the tribes the way. We must continue our expansion Towards the Nile and bring Jesus to their homes and villages.

I am compelling you that we must, before we strike the enemy, gain more people to christ. We are children of Shiba and Solomon. As the bible so says and her temple lies just down from here. We all have forever known that. We are the light of Africa and the beacon for all lost souls.

Abyssania calls for your help and God, Jesus, need your help. They need help in showing the unlawful Africans the way. You all can help God.

Go join the school programs to learn in France and Portugal to bring back the enlightened ideas.

Go join the army and help in defending Christianity and spreading its golden roots across the continent. Fight for Jesus and all that he stands for. Fight for your Emperor and your country. Fight for Africa. Fight for a unified Africa with one mission and one road.

No longer must Africa be a divided mound of quarreling tribes. It can be a unified people with one view in site. You can help make that happen. No longer do you have to sit in the back waters. You can sit on the frontlines. YOu can help your country. This is your land and it belongs to no one else.

Do you want to make your land flourish?

Yes

Do You Want to make it prosperous and fertile?

Yes

Do you want to stand and defend your homes, your family, your Emperor, and God?

Yes!

Then join the army! Fight for your country! Become a scholar. Become a true man of God. Be a soldier and help tame the Wild African Plains. Bring your fellow man to your side and dfend your nation. You are all one. We are all one and we have a right to defend these lands from the heathens and enemies of Jesus.

The crowd was erupting with cheer. Men ran to join the army. And many other joined the World Intelligence Program. People flocked now to defend the Emperor, to defend Abyssania, and defend God's true message.

ooc: NA UH!!!, He cant go around making silly deals like that. Prussia is 100% behind me. Therefore all these deals are void and null since he doesnt have such power.

The provincial senates of Prussia and Hungary support you outright, but the rest seem to be adopting a wait-and-see attitude.

From Krakow (that includes prussia):

No deals, thats ultimately Krakowian territory, you might invade it, you may occupy it, but it is not legitimately yours. Some might say that theres no point in continuing the war agaisnt russia, well we might as well defend ourselfs against you too.

Best of Regards

To: All involved and effected by the Treaty of Paris
From: Gallicia

Recent events have turned sour in regards to the Asturian regions and other Celtic Culture areas. Yet this treaty is a good, just, fair one. France has shown good forsight in its dealings with in it. The treaty touts the creation of Republics, and the implementation of Peoples Power to Plebiscite. So, we propose the following solution to the problem. Allow a Plebiscite to deside whether the disputed regions of northern Spain would rather join the Gallician Republic, or the Spainish Republic. This would solve the problem once and for all. We acknowledge that a bitter, imperialistic Spain may reject this, but we ask Portugal and France, does this not seem fair, does this not seem right. Wouldn't this mediate the conflict and allow fro lasting Iberian Peace. Would this not follow the rest of the treaty?

OOC: Plebiscite is ow Turtledove spells it, so i spelled it that way

We shall agree to this defensive pact, on the condition that French warships will be allowed stay in Finnish harbors. France would be willing to pay for their accomodations.

We agree, name a price that you would be willing to pay for the harbour usage.

Does 2 EP sound good to you? Unfortunately, we would not be able to pay it this turn, and would pay it next turn, but we would not deploy our ships until we pay.

It more then does. You can deploy those ships as soon as possible, regardless of wether you have payed or not. (Aslong as I get those 2 eco points someday) You see Finnish national security goes over my greed.

Hey das, have any NPC recomendations?
