Nation Background: Brunswick/Braunschweig and the other small German Protestant states were quick to support the Bohemian Protestant rebels, and, despite Danish help, were for the most part easily defeated by the Imperial forces in the first few years of the war. However, Gustav II's campaigns later liberated northern Germany, which became a part of his Protestant Empire, despite French protests. After the Fragmentation of the Protestant Empire in 1648-1650, a few small Protestant states remained in Northern Germany, dominated by Brandenburg and Brunswick; the former eventually joined the Krakow Union, while the latter united north-western Germany - first in an alliance, and later, druing the War of the Augsburg League, in a kingdom. Having repulsed the Franco-Bavarian assault with Krakowian help, Brunswick is now at peace, despite continued tensions with Denmark-Norway, France and the Augsburg League.

We absolutely agree about continuing our positive relationsship. I think every hostile nation on this planet knows that the Catholic Empire of Abyssinia is under special protection of Portugal. There is no need to sign any kind of treaty about this.
