You guys really hate each other don't you?

No, I'm just tired of this dual personality schizophrenia which is a poorly disguised attempt to save face in losing this war.

Actually no, I do not hate North King, we just have very different aproaches to NESing. I play to have fun, write a good story, and enjoy it. He plays to win.

I did send orders for every side of the Civil War, and in fact I did start it. I ordered Panin to take power in Moscow and I did order Suvorov to try and recapture Moscow by force. Why? Because I think that is what was likley to happen in that situation in Russia. I routinley play more than one character in a country which often have very conflicting goals and conduct diplomacy for all of them. I do not see a problem with that.

NK? Playing to win?

Perhaps win his war :p

TO: The Provisional Government of Russia
FROM: The Holy Roman Empire [of the French Nation]

We accept the unconditional surrender of the Provisional Government, which we view, in turn, as the government representative of the Russian people. Our terms will be dictated within the coming days.

The Provisional Government asks for the help of the Imperial and Japanese forces in dealing with Chancellor Suvorov and the Egalitarian rebels.

Chancellor Suvorov is prepared to surrender unconditionally if the Imperial and Japanese forces promise not to interfere in Russia's internal affairs and to allow him to restore the legitimate government of Russia.

Lurker's Comment: I actually agree with stormy, he's one of the few players that actually will cause his nation to go to civil war. I mean, I've never seen north king cause his own civil war, it's always "I must defeat all my neighbors, will you help me and etc" ;)

I admire Stormbringer's NESing style. It frustrates me when I act realistically and lose simply because everyone else is acting unrealistically, but it doesn't seem to bother Stormbringer.

Cuivienen, I learned a long time ago that if I wanted a good, realistic NES, the players would have to be restricted to about 5-6 NESers, which will not happen. That is why I find it to be as much fun to mess with my own country as to mess with others. At least in my country I can do what I want.

You could use a good civil war, just to keep you on your toes. No one else seems to be able to. ;)

I'll play as Eglitists and Anti-Egalitist for Britain next turn. And i'll see who wins.

(OOC: Isn't Kal'thzar Paraguay)

He didn't tell me; if he only posted it in the thread, I might've missed it.

If that is the case the only question remains - where is Suvorov with his massive army?

He is on the Lithuanian front, and is yet to make his move...

I sent a you a PM that stated what I wanted done.

Long after the deadline, so I only noticed it when posting the update...

I did not agree to this! Not once in my orders did I say retreat from the south-east.

Hmm? I suppose I might've misunderstood your orders, but I think they quite definitely point to the retreat from the territories east of the Niger (including what you evidently reffered to as the south-east).

On the BT - I do not intend to do any, at least any time soon. I really did mean it when I said that I intend to return to ITNES I (after the end of this NES2 VI IT).

I gave no order to retreat.

Yes you did; if you don't mind, I could even quote the part where you ordered a retreat.

He plays to win.

Ironic, and illustrative of my point in the "Story or Game" thread. ;)

Also, Britain is NOT Egalitist - there are merely Egalitists in the Parliament.

Well I pushed my country into civil war once......but it was unintentional or was it? Cant remember.

So, my economy isn't used at all? That seems injust. I may have forgotten orders or didn't have the time to send them but my economy could have been used and I could have nearly finished the project...

Yes, it could have; but it wasn't, because you didn't even send some sort a NPCing guideline as I had requested. If it is any relief, everyone who didn't send orders (or at least guidelines) had suffered likewise throughout this NES.

OOC: And has suffered similarly through all the ones past...

OOC: Economic analysis:

As a somewhat interesting aside, the three superpowers, added together, have more economic power than the entire rest of the world combined (107:102, or 51.2%). ;)

I keep getting forgotten in the strategic maps :(
Although you are in Segu, you aren't a major combat participant (which is a somewhat arbitrary definition I have invented which basically means committing the bulk of your forces to fighting), hence you are light blue, despite being Allied and doing some fighting. ;)
