Spoiler Proto-Moss :
Proto-Moss
Evolved from: Terranoalgae
Genes (17): Photosynthesis x6, Cold Resistance x1, Hibernation x1, Carpeting x3, Water Retention x3, Airborne Spores x2, Mass Reproduction x1
Description: The primary advantage of the early landbased algae was the ease with which they could spread to and survive in new environments. This trend would continue through the use of a multitude of spores, hoisted on stalks, that the wind could spread far and wide.

Parasitic Moss
Evolved from: Proto-Moss
Genes added (2): Parasitic Roots x2
Genes (19): Photosynthesis x6, Cold Resistance x1, Hibernation x1, Carpeting x3, Water Retention x3, Airborne Spores x2, Mass Reproduction x1, Parasitic Roots x2
Description: Using roots that could suck moisture from the stems of larger plants like Fanels and Zeboos, the mosses stole their way into the large forests of the planet.

OOC: Figured I'd give you something easy to draw. Just a splotch of dark green or something. ;)

I'll give this a go, since Fulton said it was open

Spoiler :
Energetic Zeeboo: Fulton
Evolved From: Singing Zeeboo
Genes (25): Photosynthesis x5, Poision x1, Mass Reproduction x3, Roots x3, Stems x1, Water Retention x3, Regeneration x1, Mineral Eating x3, Protected Seeds x1, Fast Growth x1, Vibration sense x1, Vocalisation x1, Brain Power x1
Description: The development of the singing Zeeboo had begun the slow process that would transform the way plants related to one another. However, there was still a long way to go and the new developments had increased the energy demands of the Zeeboo.

Tailed Zeeboo: flamingzaroc121
Evolved form Energetic Zeeboo
Genes (25): Photosynthesis x5, Poision x1, Mass Reproduction x3, Roots x3, Stems x1, Water Retention x3, Regeneration x1, Mineral Eating x3, Protected Seeds x1, Fast Growth x1, Vibration sense x1, Vocalisation x1, Brain Power x1
New Genes Anti-Poison Tail x2
Description:2 New tails with glads of anti-poison in them is what changed this new species of Zeeboo, if poisoned, the Tailed Zeeboo sweeps its two tails over the wound releasing antidote. This however does not interfere with its own poisoning ability

Spoiler :
Terradid MrkII: Grombar
Evolved from: Terradid
Genes (18): Crawling x2, Plant Eating x3, Complex Stomach x2, Claws x3, Cold Resistance x1, Exoskeleton x2, Eyes x2, Water Retention x3, Poison resistance x1, Lungs x1
Description: Over the years the Terradid's continued to do very well being one of the only plant eaters that could follow the plantlife farther inland. Now however the hunters where coming onto land more, and the even bigger issue was they where able to get farther and farther inland to keep hunting the Terradid's. Over time the Terradid's developed the ability to follow plantlife even farther inland to both continue opening up its feed grounds and to avoid predators. The other major improvement over these last 2 era's was the increase in effectiveness of its claws. The Terradid's had started to actively fight back. Between the Terradid's exoskeleton, claws and eyesight it was quite the match for most predators 1 on 1 and sometimes even 2 on 1

Cronodid
Genes Added (Max 2):Hearing x1, Brain Power x1
Genes Removed (Max 2):
Description: The ability to hear as well as a fledgling form of brain power now allowed the Terradid to defend itself from the emerging hunters all that much better. With its new ability to "think" it also started to understand that when certain sounds where heard nearby that it was time to get to cover or somewhere defensible at the very least. This was a large step in keeping the Terradid's safe in the ever more hostile land environments. With these 2 new abilities the Terradid was now referred to as the Cronodid.

OOC: Don't have to do much if anything for the ears, im thinking them just relativly flat surfaces on the top/sides of the Cronodid's head that can catch nearby sounds.

Could I join?

Oh, those should definitely be changed to the player's name. I didn't see the Bloon Finner's classification post, or the Cool Rockster's.

The Bloom Finner was classified by Lord Iggy on post 1112 for erez87.
The Cool Rockster is an NPC evolution, on post 1121 where Lord Iggy made his first attempt at a visual classification chart he had the species name R. gelus, just a few posts before your 1132 post where you listed it as R. arcticus.

Thanks for posting the new evolutions, and hi to the new players!

I think that is enough for another update, but it might not be for a few days yet, i am still quite busy with other things :(

You certainly could, that is cool - though, IMO it seems a bit odd to remove the eyesight, but its your decision :)

Daft, PLEASE give us a status update on DNES...

I edited my previous posts where I classified my species to show Dentochordata and a Subphylum of Blobsterum with Chordata as Phylum.

Which scientific names of species would be preferable? I've noticed some discrepancy between posts of different players where one person used one species name and another used a different name. Specificly: Bloom Finner has been named P. bloomii and V. effloresco; Cool Rockster has been named R. gelus and R. arcticus. In addition there are some discrepancies higher up. I am currently defaulting to North King's list post 1132.

North King: How would you describe the Dentochordata class? I feel my original way of describing the class was not that great.

For classification: The Nitros, Sandworm/Leafworm, and Cazone lines look very distantly related in some way. Based on the definition of a Chordate, I would guess that the newer Omi/Bluffer and Garbage-Eater lines might fall under the Phylum somewhere.

Also looking at wikipedia, when classifying animals the Famliy typically, though not always, ends in -dae.
V. effloresco is an actual Latin name, which I gave it when I re-classified the Finners.

Gelus is the word for cold, also seen in the Gelurytes.

Can't wait for the update, and I wish I could make multiple evolutions this turn.

Efficient Finner: erez87
Evolved from: Bloom Finner
Genes (17): Skeleton x1, Jaws x1, Plant Eating x4, Plankton Eating x1, Swimming x3, Eyes x1, Gills x3, Mass Reproduction x2, Cold Resistance x1
Description: The mass production gene proved successful and was rewarded by natural selection to improve and become better. The more young thought meant the parent animals had to have more energy. Animals that could gain more energy from their food source soon won the battle for survival and the Efficient Finner appeared.

Mouha Finner : erez87
Evolved from: Efficient Finner
Gene added : Eyes+1, Plant eating+1, Swimming +1
Description : Just the efficient Finner continued evolution. Better at digesting more plants and swimming at even faster speeds The efficient finner seemed to also have improved eyesight. It can now spot food and enemies from further away. The Mouha Finner is much better equipped than the efficient one.

OOC-How plausible is to have metals becoming part of the body? (Like some metallic organ)? I have n idea but I need to know if it's plausible.

Welcome to the game, flamingzaroc121. I'm glad you've taken an interest in the Zeeboo.

Speaking of which, Daft, can different evolutions of Zeeboo still 'talk' to each other? I'd like the to be able to, as I see the whole Zeeboo line as being very interconnected, but understand if they are just too different to have that connection.

@everyone, it looks like i am going away for a few days, from thursday until the start of next week. Sorry that the update wont come before then :(

That does seem a little strange, could you tell me more about your idea?

Yeah I think they would be able to do that, so long as they are not too different.

Decloak: I remember once hearing on a documentary that scorpions naturally concentrate heavy metals they absorbed from prey animals into their stingers to harden them, but just looking at Google quickly I can't actually find anything to back it up.

My metallic idea is a metallic pocket (really tiny) that will hold corrosive acids that melt through rock. It's to win grazing ground against this castle creatures.

Daftpanzer:
"IMO it seems a bit odd to remove the eyesight, but its your decision"

I removed eye because it was a weakly developed sense that required a lot of energy

Daft! Blood Is nothing but Packets of Iron rust and DNA! Everything have metalic organs.... they are blood cells!
